We worked with Silva Construction Group for a master bathroom renovation. A trustworthy friend recommended Harol and his company to us. Having that referral was what pushed us to move forward. Based on quotes we received, they’re definitely on the higher end, but in the end that was worth it. Generally, the crew showed up on time and our expectations were met. I’ve heard horror stories about working with contractors so having a company that follows through was crucial. They delivered on their promises and we are happy. With any project, there will be unforeseen circumstances. Harol’s team navigated those well in order to finish the job on schedule. Once you have a contract, you’re assigned a project/design manager. We worked with Lydia and she was wonderful. If we didn’t have her as a go between the main office and the workers I’m not sure how it would have been. There were a lot of moving parts and she was always there to get our questions answered and advocate if something needed adjusting. We would definitely use them again!

We selected this company through a competitive process; they were on our short list because they had done work for us five years earlier in our bathrooms. For this work, they remodeled our kitchen, added some cabinets to our family room and replaced our patio French doors, which had deteriorated. Throughout the process the company was a good mix of professional and friendly. It started out advising us on our kitchen remodel by introducing us to cabinet makers and then to Mosaic Home Decor to complete the process of selecting the other elements needed in the remodel. The process was one in which options were given and we made the selections rather than have the company make the selections for us; this is the type of process we were looking for and one we did not find so clearly in the other competitors. Silva also was quite accommodating to my husband's condition, Parkinson's Disease, They assisted in moving the furniture out in the construction area as well as moving it back in when the work was done. They also installed a temporary stove in the basement so that we could cook during construction since my husband has trouble going out. Again, we did not see the same type of accommodation in other companies we reviewed. The qualify of the work they did was very good and they came back a few times to address issues that crept up after they had finished. We are delighted with their work and we recommend them highly.

Harold, the owner, gives a fair price for outstanding work done. I have had him and his company do work on our home for years and when it was time to sell our home and put it on the market, we asked Harold to do the painting, tile work, fireplace and a few other things. I hired Silva Construction Group to do a complete bathroom remodel, install new wood floors throughout my condo (porcelain tile floors in the kitchen), hide my popcorn ceiling and to paint my entire condo as well. This was my first time undertaking a renovation project so I was naturally apprehensive - especially since everyone kept warning me about how horrible it would be. Well, I am here to share that it is possible to have a great renovation experience. Silva Construction Group came in on budget and completed the project in the time indicated. Harol was always available to answer my question and the renovation process was an open one in that I could stop by to see the progress anytime I wanted to. Harol also gave me options to consider and ensured that I made the right decision for me about how to proceed. At the start of my project I had solicited bids from 3 contractors and I went with Silva Construction Group because they were the most comprehensive in spelling out all aspects of the project (with the exception, obviously, of those things that I needed to pick once we started) as well as the glowing references I heard from previous clients (many of which were repeat clients which I think says it all).

Harol and his team were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. Harol guided me step-by-step through the renovation process and assisted me in selecting and obtaining the fixtures. I was especially appreciative of how respsectlful and curteous they were of the fact that the renovations occurred while I was living there. They took all steps to ensure nothing was damaged and even offered to make a few minor repairs to items unrelated to the actual project. Highly recommend!

I am so glad we got connected with Harol Silva and his team. They renovated our outdated and small kitchen to make it feel larger and more modern, removed the popcorn ceilings and added recessed lighting on the main floor, and also added crown molding to the main floor and painted throughout the house. They were quick and efficient while also providing great quality. They are perfectionists and great communicators which is what you want when someone is renovating your home. Can't wait to have them renovate our basement one day!

Attempting a total bathroom renovation in a 50 year old condo with very strict rules and regulations is no easy task. Silva listened to what I wanted and paid close attention to what was required by me and the building people. I was impressed at the precautions taken to protect my floors, furniture and artwork as well as public areas of the building. We discussed and agreed on a budget. I was out of the country some of the time but had no problem communicating with the team. I was very pleased with the results and five years later still love the remodel. It was done in time and almost on budget❗️

Complete renovation of our third floor as well as our first floor was accomplished within budget and within the time frame originally proposed. One reason for the success of these projects was the contractor's ability to work with us to refine our renovation activities to the point that there were no 'gotchas' or cost overruns. The workers are professional, work places as clean as possible, and the quality of workmanship is really superb. We will use this firm again next summer for exterior repairs required and painting.

I have used Harol Silva's team many times for large and small projects. They do excellent work. I manage mid-size condo complex. We have a lot of problems here that cause interior damage to the units and we always know we can count on Silva to repair for us. The work involves drywall, painting, sometimes minor mold treatment, carpentry, plumbing, electricity and flooring - they do it all. Not only are the owners here happy with the quality of the work, but Silva's employees are honest, hard-working, quiet and behave in a professional manner as well. I highly recommend.
