Shaw Craft contracting is a family owned business with 30 years experience. We are a general contractor serving a large portion of Maryland. We specialize in kitchens, baths, basements and additions. We work as a general contractor which we have licensed electricians, plumbers and HVAC contractors that we work with to complete jobs. We stive on quality and working within your time fram. We have the knowledge, expertise and experience to bring your remodeling dreams to reality. OUR HISTORY Shaw Craft Contracting LLC was established by Martin Shaw in 2013. Martin has over 30 years experience in residential and commercial renovation projects which include all aspects of home and commercial contracting/improvements . Several of these years were spent working as a project superintendent in the commercial field assuring that all projects were completed on time and within budget. With all these years of experience and expertise. He brings the same level of detail and expertise to homeowners and business owners across Maryland. He now has incorporated his son, Zakary, into the business.

Marty and his team are great. They are thorough, efficient, and have great attention to detail. We have used Shaw Craft for many projects throughout our home. It started with updating our kitchen back splash and bringing some electrical outlets up to code. They did an interior paint job throughout our house and have also done an exterior paint job. We have used them for wood deck repairs, as well. They came highly recommended from my sister who used them for a dining room remodel and my parents who used them for the installation of a Trex deck. My family and I highly recommend Shaw Craft Contracting for your next home project!

Martin and his team helped us with remodeling and turning a medical commercial space into a beautiful modern art studio. The work scope covered from new walls, new ceilings, floors, artistically arched walls, beautiful French wall moulding, moving the bathroom to new location, etc. The team were very responsive, professional and always on time, or more accurately, they always showed up ahead of time for each of our meetings. Martin was good at details and always communicated with us first for any issues or concerns he predicted during the project. The final work was not only beautiful and impressive but also well-built as well. We got so many compliments from our customers. The team also cleaned up the mess after their work each day. We were also very happy with all the sub-contractors, such as electricity guys and plumbers he teamed up with. Martins said he only used professional subs when needed. Martin was also very accessible. Reaching out to him and scheduling a time with him to fix an issue or for a meeting later on was very easy. We were so glad we found a contractor with such a professional attitude to work with, and can't wait to use him again for any commercial or household projects in the future.

These guys completely remodeled my bathroom, and it looks beautiful. They made adjustments and allowances for my 95 year old house and kept me updated along the way. I had a plumbing issue that was not part of the contract but they were able to fix the problem and work through it. They were always friendly, helped me choose tile colors and design, offered suggestions, and were generally very easy to work with. I highly recommend them for any home improvement projects you may have.
