They work hard to get it just right according to time, budget and customer/architect specifications. They work with a VERY detailed time-line and will offer suggestions and listen to your input along the way. Their friendly team delivers a very high quality product! Owner Scott Evarts has seen and done it all in the construction business, drawing on over 35 years on the job and the wealth of knowledge of his father, Ward, who previously co-owned the business. He can take on ANY surprise or challenge that might come up. His right hand man, Rich Canale, keeps a laser focus on timing, budget and so much more, so the whole process moves forward at a fast pace and without a hitch.

We engaged S&W in 2009 for an extensive multi-faceted home renovation project. The scope of the project touched every single room in the house in some fashion. The more significant aspect of the project included a complete demolition / renovation and expansion of the kitchen, complete demolition / renovation of three bathrooms, installing built in drawers and closets in 4 bedrooms, installation of an integrated lighting plan throughout the first floor (family room, living room, sun room, library), demolition / installation of a new front entrance way (including stone wall work and blue stone walkway), installation of a detached two car garage and installation of a new paver block driveway. S&W worked very closely with my wife and I on this project which entailed regular project status meetings with us and the architect. S&W has its own team of skilled workman which enables S&W to control the project and they were able to complete the project expeditiously and professionally. S&W did an excellent job of expediting the various trades (electricians, plumbers, masons, framers along with their own staff) which kept the project moving on schedule. I was particularly impressed with S&W's problem solving skills. The scope of the project was significant and I found that S&W was quick to respond to issues as they arose and provided innovative solutions. I would engage S&W again, if I had a project and would strongly recommend them to someone looking for an engaging, professional contractor.

The team at S&W provides diverse knowledge and expertise in fulfilling construction and design needs, as well as very helpful with decisions to help move the project along. Construction was completed in a timely manner, on schedule.

Our remodeling project presented a big challenge in that another contractor had caused a lot of damage to our home. S&W was able to fix the damage and complete the project flawlessly. They were always reliable-staying on budget and on time. They were all extremely professional and beyond that they cared about our home and took pride in their work. As always in major projects there is the unexpected road block. S&W always figured out how to get past it and complete the task. We had total peace of mind when S&W was working on our home and we love the results!

S & W does a great job - Totally professional and easy to work with. All things are done with the utmost care and attention to detail. They do not take the easy or cheap way out, but all projects are done the right way. They are certainly not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. A great job done at a reasonable price.

Incredibly great team from top down. Highest quality work that pays off because everything is done to perfection. We had hired less expensive (and lower quality) builders in the past and ended up paying for it when work had to be redone, so we learned our lesson! S&W was very responsive to our needs throughout the building process and afterwards. Two family members used S&W for large projects and also had a wonderful experience.
