Ross Industries offers Remodeling, Development, Smart/Energy Efficient Homes and Design services. Joe is an expert in project management, pre-planning, layout and client communication to ensure jobs get done on time and that the end product exceeds client expectations. Suzanne offers the added service of design consultation, material selections, fixtures and other details to round out a full service end to end approach for their clients. Joe began his career in residential construction in his early teens, learning from both his fathers how to build decks, finish basements, and interior painting. In college, he worked for his neighbor performing general carpentry - managing demolition work, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and major additions. He would go on to earn a bachelors and masters degrees in economics from George Mason University, and an MBA from Arizona State University. And, after more than 16 years in energy industry, Joe felt it was his calling to enter the construction business full-time. With more than 25 years performing and managing both big and small projects, including his first full remodel and flip project in 2003-2004 of a townhouse in Northern Virginia, a 125-year old Victorian house in downtown Portland, the development of Portland Public Schools' $4.6M, 1.25-megawatt solar project across 6 schools, along with numerous other projects, the establishment of Ross Industries, PDX is allowing homeowners and developers the opportunity to leverage both Joe's project management experience as well as his experience in the renewable energy space to bring their dreams to fruition. Suzanne grew up in Canada, and moved to Oregon in 2003 to pursue her MBA in sports business. Since graduating she's worked for Nike in various capacities, her latest endeavor leading the digital team for the company's kids business. Her 'hobby' and 2nd job is home design. She has a passion and eye for it and loves transforming spaces and helping people make their homes more functional and amazing. Suzanne enjoys working with Joe and their clients to solve the various remodeling challenges they are faced with. Joe keeps focused on the big picture, layout and schedule and Suzanne focuses on the finer details of materials, colors, surfaces and fixtures. Together, they make a good team and never forget to have fun along the way!
