R. E. Construction & Maintenance Services is a full service General Contractor in business since 1991 serving all of Central Indiana. We do both Residential and light Commercial Remodeling, Renovation & Restoration and energy efficient new Construction. We have completed over 2000 projects and have an A+ rating with the BBB. We have on staff a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and a Certified Green Professional. As well as one of only 24 Graduate Master Remodelers in the Country. We have a proven 25-year track record of providing quality service in the areas of interior and exterior renovations, existing structures, as well as specialty services in dust suppression, fire/water restorations, and historic renovations. R.E. Construction makes every effort to build and remodel in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. In our effort to keep your home clean and family safe, we use dust control measures including the installation of dust doors to protect your home. This results in a cleaner and safer job site. We also supply our customers with energy efficient construction techniques and products. R.E. Construction carries a full line of insurance for your protection. Included in this insurance is worker’s compensation and liability insurance. We are licensed in the areas in which we work and we comply with all licensing laws and building codes.

At 1st I thought very highly of R.E. Construction. I had a porch built and a linen closet installed and both were done nicely. Well now the wrap on the porch has stretched and is wavy and bubbled looking and 1 step is cracking. I am now having lots of troubles getting any return calls about getting other quotes and warranty work done. Sad part is I originally wanted additional quotes for work before this. Now its time to move on.

Stephen and his crew did the bulk of a major remodel my small home. We took it to the studs and made it new again. He was easy to communicate with and worked with us through numerous unexpected curveballs. It's never easy or pleasant paying for unanticipated costs, but I felt that Stephen was professional, honest and helpful. At the end of the project, we were quite happy and impressed.

Stephen and R.E. Construction rebuilt our deck and patio for our house in Carmel, and they did an amazing job. So often construction is delayed, over-budget, and takes 2x longer than they say, but we experienced exactly the opposite. They started a couple weeks early, finished on time, and were right on the budget. It is a family owned company, their team was extremely professional, and I felt so comfortable having them at my house while we were at work. I have been so impressed with their work, work ethic, and timeliness. We have not experienced that with other companies in the past, and it was refreshing. We reached out to them as a cold call, and now consider them a go to company for all our home improvements. We cannot say enough about the great job that they did. I highly recommend them for your home improvements.

Our home repairs are nearly done. We found an honest and competent contractor in Stephen Robinson and R & E Construction. Todd and Jeremy worked diligently and took great pride in their work. Our dishwasher blew up part way through this project and happily they were there to figure out what was wrong (hard to tell, the Great Room carpet was soaked but no evidence of a leak). They shut off the water, ripped out the carpet and continued on with 3 bathroom floor replacements, kitchen floor and entire new shower in the Master Bath. The shower door arrives Wednesday. They do fabulous work.

I called Stephen and explained to him what I wanted in the form of a cedar deck in the back yard. Stephen came out when scheduled, listened to what we wanted and promised to return with his written proposal. As scheduled he returned with a very competitive proposal. When he began work on the deck,he sent out 2 very good and qualified carpenters and finished the job in 4 days as promised. Every hole was pre-drilled, the quality of his workmanship was outstanding. I would highly recommend RE Construction for any job.

Hired to tear down and rebuild chimney on 2 story house. Had problems right away with leaks, bad flashing and eventually bricks failing. Came back multiple times to caulk, repair, replace bricks. Problem still persists. Very hard to reach by phone, does not call back in timely manner, when reached does not show up when says he will. Many excuses as to why he does';t show or unable to immediately fix problem.

Received a timely and accurate estimate for a new roof including tear off and repairs. The estimate was itemizes very well so I could see exactly what the costs were. The crew started and completed the project in one day and cleaned up so you would never know they were there. I would definitely hire again.
