Penncraft did an awesome job upgrading our deck, and installing a bathroom in our basement. The team is easy to work with and consulted us on an ongoing basis. They found rotted wood in our deck frame and alerted us, showed us the issue and helped us understand what needed to be done while making sure we worked to stay within our budget. The team is friendly, efficient and easy to work with. I would strongly recommend Penncraft and we plan to use them in the future.

We hired Penncraft for a major addition to our home, including significant excavation work, new basement space, a 2-car garage, and a master bedroom suite. Our job started during the early part of the pandemic, with the worst of attendant supply chain woes, material price fluctuations, labor issues, and ambiguous delivery schedules. Penncraft contended with all these problems with great dexterity. They did a superb job juggling the plans around logistic reality. As to the work, Penncraft did a great job all around, with constant attention to doing high quality work. Furthermore, the Penney’s provided great insight on unanticipated design and technical issues that cropped up during the work. We specifically want to note that their chosen subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, etc.) showed the same characteristics. Lastly, they were a personable crew, making it easy to have them in the house day after day. Bottom line: we would happily work with Penncraft again and recommend them without reservations.

We recently had Scott and Jake finish our basement. We could not be happier with the finished product. If you are looking for quality work done in your home, I highly recommend Penncraft Contracting. They are reliable, honest, and skilled in their craft. The work was completed within the estimated time frame and there was no nonsense involved. They showed up and worked. If there was a problem, they fixed it. If there was a question, they gave options. The entire experience working with them was hassle-free and pleasant. We have already scheduled additional projects with them this spring.

The team at Penncraft Contracting renovated nearly our entire home. Our kitchen is our dream come true. We now have a separate home office with beautiful pocket doors that allow for flow and seamless functionality. We are looking forward to our bathroom renovations in a few weeks. Believe me when I say that they are the most professional ,reliable, talented and receptive contractors we've ever hired. Their attention to detail and sincere customer relations skills keep us coming back as satisfied customers.

Dave and I can’t say enough about this father-son duo! They have a wonderful trait of complimenting each other’s skills! They spent almost two years on an off creating the most amazing deck, screened porch and mud room that we enjoy every day...they created more than we can ever have imagined ...it has enhanced our living area and life ten fold! They are both kind, laid back individuals who who listen and will give feedback and suggestions if asked! We would recommend them to anyone...which we have! I can’t praise Penncraft Contracting enough. Scott Penney and his son Jake built a detached garage/studio for us this last summer (2019). We admired their meticulous craftsmanship, their reliability, their management of subcontractors, their endless patience and good humor. Scott managed the project from beginning to end – from getting town building permits to making sure our yard was tidy and growing grass at the end. We have had some frustrating building projects in the past but we came to trust Scott’s judgment and management skills. We were able to actually enjoy the mammoth cement trucks, excavators, and piles of I-beams from our front row seats in our kitchen. Thank you, Scott and Jake.

We loved working with Penncraft Contacting. Our architect enjoyed wirking with them as well, so much so that he hired them to do a renovation on his home. The attention to detail. Thoughtfullness about posdible adjustments to the specs, and willingness to work with some unconventional ideas as the project moved forward were wonderful. They are easy to collaborate with. They were particularly great with working in a very snowy winter conditions and marrying an 1850's character with contemporary 1,300 sq ft design and needs.

We hired Penncraft Contracting to build a family room addition, 17x22, and we are very pleased with the design and workmanship of the addition. We very much appreciated Scott's professionalism throughout the project. The quote was very detailed and the scheduling and completion of the job was as planned.
