We are finished phase one and are about to embark on phase two of a renovation of a 1960's side split in the Hunt Club area of London. We have been very happy with Kevin, Tyler and Hannah. From the design and conception phase to construction, clean up and beyond they have been very responsive to our many questions and last minute requests. The tradespeople they have brought in have been consistently good, with Opal always ensuring that everything is top-notch and professionally done. Communication has been excellent, including our 'Client Portal' where we can review invoices, work schedules and more. The odd time there have been issues with the work done (some of which we probably wouldn't have noticed to be honest), Kevin and Tyler are always right on top of it, making sure the work is done to the highest possible standards. Perhaps most importantly, these are all genuinely nice people too which goes a long way for us. Phase one was completed in a timely manner and on budget. We would not hesitate to recommend Opal Building Co, and are looking forward to the next stage of this transformation! James and Stephanie Norton

We definitely recommend Opal for your renovation needs. Tyler, Hannah, and Kevin designed and delivered the master bedroom & ensuite of our dreams (the photos speak for themselves!). The team was excellent from the planning, designing, demolition, construction, right down to the final touches. The work was timely and on schedule. Communication was excellent. The team and all subcontractor companies were professional and respectful. We lived in our home with two small children during the renovation process, this is never an easy task however Opal was very mindful of us and our family - our kids even looked forward to seeing and interacting with Tyler & Kevin. Kevin, Hannah, & Tyler’s work and customer service was beyond excellent - they all were great to have working in our home - trustworthy & reliable. We love our new transformed space and spa-like ensuite bath. Thank You so much Opal!

Opal Building did a major remodel for us earlier this year. They gave us a stunning new open-concept kitchen and ensuite master bathroom, walk-in closet, and flooring and doors throughout. Kevin and Tyler impressed us right away with their attention to detail and recommendations. They really put in the time and effort to make sure we were totally happy with the whole design and they were very quick getting back to us with updated drawings. You can tell these guys really work hard and love what they do. They kept in communication with us at all times, often responding to emails in the evening and on weekends to provide updates and answer any questions. They did the work flawlessly and went over and above with the little things to make sure we were happy. We would highly recommend Opal to any homeowner looking for a high quality job and phenomenal customer service!

I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past and this time around really did my homework. After meeting with multiple companies we decided to go with Opal as they met with us and went over details of the job for nearly 2 hours. It was transparent that they cared about the customer above all else. They were also very honest about timelines and potential issues that can arise in the type of job I was looking to complete. Once the work began I was given updates almost daily and was on the same page as Kevin and Tyler who were on site every single day until the job was complete. I now have an opened up and modern main floor from the front door all the way to the kitchen. I couldn’t be happier and look forward to working with Opal again in the future.

I've now hired Opal to do two separate projects. The first went just as smooth as the second. Kevin and Tyler are on point from the first meeting, through the planning and design phase until they carry out the work. They have the skills and knowledge to do the majority of the work themselves which meant nothing was overseen throughout the different stages of the project due to their hands-on approach. If you're looking for a team with high character, standards and commitment, hire Opal.
