Thank you for your comment.
To address your arguments:
We’re sorry you don’t like the kitchen we built for you and that you’re unhappy with our service. Unfortunately it seems there are some misunderstandings with the tasks you hired us for:
The first “very small job” you hired us for was to uninstall and move a kitchen and appliances from one location to another, from San Francisco to North Lake Tahoe, close to 300 miles. This entailed the transportation of your kitchen with our vehicle, our gas, our time, unloading and making the trip back. That “worked fine” because you never paid for that service.
The second job you hired us for was to install used kitchen cabinets you purchased that arrived damaged and misfit. This was a huge surprise and in order to make it work, we had to carefully disassemble, cut and build your kitchen from the cabinets that arrived, some of which were damaged.
Not one cabinet was a perfect match. Everything we touched had to be rebuilt! That was not per the contract. We spent more than DOUBLE the time we initially estimated on your project. We built several other pieces of furniture for your house.
What you paid was for the work done; and we went above and beyond what the contract stated.
You needed additional material, so we can build extra pull outs and drawers. The missing lights in some of the drawers were also your responsibility, as well as the fridge panel, motion sensors and the glass shelf.
Please check the contract and note that you were to provide all materials, something we have asked you to do several times.
We did not collect the final balance on this project.
The extra electric work was upgrading your two sub panels, which was not part of our contract.
Countertops were also subcontracted to a third party.
Please let us know when you have purchased the additional materials which we’ve kindly outlined for you in the punchlist and we will be happy to return and install those for you.
Have a wonderful day.
