Lon Danley began constructing residential and commercial buildings in New Mexico in 1983. Since moving to Texas in 1997, Lon has focused on custom construction in San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country area. Whether he is working on a small home or a multi-million dollar project, the details that Lon adds to the structure make the project special. Lon has never been satisfied with ordinary. He began tooling leather in his teens. Over the years, he focused his skills on metal and woodworking. No matter the medium, he adds an artist’s touch to everything he makes. The driving force behind Lon’s work is the excitement of creating something new. The knowledge gained through the process of designing, engineering, crafting, and finishing a piece is as rewarding as the finished product. As a member of the Lon Danley Customs team, I can assure you that none of us are satisfied with average work. We put too much of ourselves into what we do to accept anything less than the best.
