A friend in the design business says, "you can get it fast; you can get it cheap; you can get it done expertly. Pick any two out of the three but you'll never get all three." Working with LHI was about as close to getting all three as is humanly possible. Their workmanship is excellent; their communication skills are outstanding--some of the best in my experience. They worked efficiently and adapted flexibly to the challenges brought on by a pandemic/economic shutdown/social distancing, further complicated by a megalomaniac HOA board member constantly throwing obstacles in their path. JP, Kevin, and their subs are all very nice guys with great interpersonal and problem-solving skills. LHI was easy to work with and I'm very pleased with their results. I plan to hire them again for my next project in my very old home. Their motto is "there are no problems; only opportunities." Such a positive outlook makes LHI a best-choice contractor in my book.

My husband and I hired LHI Construction for a complete interior home remodel, which included the kitchen and all bathrooms, along with the re-configuring of multiple spaces. We are very happy with the final product (materials / finishes are high quality and it looks great!) and enjoyed working with their team throughout the entire process from bid to completion. They were very communicative, understanding, and responsive to our “quirks” along the way. Best of all, they completed the project on-time and on-budget, which seems to be unheard of in this industry. For any future construction project, we would not and will not hesitate to hire LHI Construction once again.

We hired JP and LHI Construction to do a kitchen / bath / mudroom renovation / addition in our Cleveland Hts home. We are thrilled with the results and appreciate the new, comfortable, functional, beautiful space every day. JP, his staff and contractors were knowledgeable, helpful, diligent, clean and friendly. JP was honest and accurate with costs and changes. We highly recommend him.

LHI Construction built a detached garage with an office and bathroom for us. They did a fantastic job! JP and John were great to work with. They had good ideas and suggestions and were anxious to come in on budget. They are good, trustworthy people. Their crew was great to work with as well, always on time, left a clean work space and were friendly and respectful of our home. We couldn't be happier with our project and the quality of their work. On the few occasions that we've had follow up questions, JP is always quick to get back to us. As John said, once they do a project, you become family. This is reflected in how they treat you during the actual construction and afterward!

An outstanding company you can count on to get the job done right! Been using this company for many years. Projects include, kitchen and bath remodels. New hardwood flooring, interior painting, exterior painting, all new window installation, a variety of maintenance and repair projects. Biggest project was a 20x40 sunroom addition including heated floor, over 40 windows, beautiful pine interior arched ceiling, new roof, new gutters and....a beautiful deck and railing including a pool. ( the pool was installed by Litehouse but LHI coordinated the design as it was built into their deck. The work included all the plumbing, gas, and electric needed for the deck and the pool

I have done 2 complete home renovations with LHI. Their work is excellent - from consultation/estimates to completion. They LISTENED to my wants and needs - and then advised and helped me to reach these goals. I highly recommend LHI Construction for any residential renovation or construction project, no matter how extensive. We have worked with John and JP for a year on a complete renovation of our entire home, taking it down to the studs. Everyone associated with LHI is highly experienced, knowledgable, professional, skilled, and detail-oriented. They go to the extreme to ensure you are happy and satisfied with their work and to realize your dreams. Few problems arose during the course of our project, but when they inevitably did, they were excellent problem-solvers. I found them to operate with the highest degree of integrity and honesty. Our project was completed on time and on budget. Subcontractors were reliable and managed so that once work commence on the project there was never any "down" or wasted time. Everyone who worked on our project, from LHI employees to subcontractors, was unfailingly polite, respectful, pleasant, helpful, and professional. I enjoyed our project so much that I will miss seeing these guys on a regular basis.

We received proposals from three contractors that were recommended by the architect. All were very good. We decided to hire LHI after negotiations and interacting with several of his subcontractors. We also met with his cabinet maker and the site foreman. The entire package was the best. We were not disappointed. The time line was extremely on tract for the 12 week project. We were informed of what to expect for every day and never had a day without some work being done and some progress made. We made some modifications to the deck and that turned out better than expected. We added another deck modification which was completed during this project by the same crew. The level of workmanship was outstanding by all involved. They isolated the work area with plastic and covered the floors in all areas they frequented, including the finished basement where much of the plumbing, electrical and construction occurred. They kept the garage storage area organized and clean. They cleaned up the work area at the end of every day minimizing the disfunction of having a kitchen out of operation. The worked very well with my dogs, two energetic Irish Setters. The entire project was well organized from start to finish. We have been very satisfied with the whole project. They have been most receptive to followup as needed.
