Harlan Custom Contracting

In my opinion, he does not effectively schedule and communicate with client. He does not utilize documents required by Pennsylvania. Bruce submitted bills for what he claimed was required to pay the subs saying that it was more complicated than anticipated - I rejected those bills. It is my opinion that he lowballed the price and tried to make his profit by inflating what he claimed was needed to pay subs. He did not show up for days and at the end of the project demanded payment even though the project was not completed. His electrical sub was, in my opinion, sub standard...required repeated recalls to fix problems. The project was completed on the strength of his carpentry subcontractors who from what I understand will not be with him much longer. In my opinion, you can do better than to hire Bruce Harlan

Bruce and his crew just finished a job for my client. I provided the cabinetry, sink, faucet, floor tile, backsplash tile, & countertops (as I am a dealer of those items) and he did all of the contracting and permitting. The job was done both to my and the client's satisfaction. Harlan Custom Contracting went above and beyond with their efforts to make the job look and work great. Thank you, Bruce!

In the past 3 years I have worked with Bruce on many projects. I am an Interior Designer/Stager. Bruce and his wonderful team have been my go-to guys for kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, trim work, and painting. Bruce and his team have a great work ethic and take direction well. Everyone on his team is very respectful with my clients and with me. They work quickly, precisely and are quick to solve any little hurdle that might arise. I find Bruce's pricing to be fair and reasonable on most bids. I am look forward to our next project together.
