Tom Birmingham/ Great Northern Construction designed and built our dream home in Door County, Wisconsin. Today, a year after we were able to move in, we are still pinching ourselves when we think about our good fortune. We were fortunate that a trusted friend gave us an overwhelmingly positive referral to Tom ("He is the ONLY person I would ever hire to build my dream home!"). We were fortunate that we met Tom when his work load was such that he had time to take on a new project. We were fortunate that we quickly formed a wonderful working-- and personal-- relationship that produced such magnificent results. Also, once construction began, we quickly learned that there were other great people working at Great Northern Construction too, which showed in the attention to detail that stands out throughout the home. We are grateful to them as well. We loved meeting these great people who all had a strong work ethic, were devoted to quality, and were great team members. It was a pleasure to "pop in" and see them working. Additionally, we were amazed that the GNC crew stayed on time throughout the project. Tom promised a certain date that the project would be completed and, to our amazement, he was perfectly on task and we moved in right on time. We would recommend Great Northern to anyone. We will forever be grateful for the beautiful work that they did, and we know that our children and grandchildren will be enjoying the home that they lovingly built for years to come.

Great Northern redesigned and replaced an entire wall of windows and French doors in my living room. Although they usually build very large houses I was lucky enough to persuade Tom Birmingham, the owner, to do this work for me. I couldn't be happier. Tom always goes the extra mile to make you happy. His crew is excellent and I never had a concern because Tom was always there to answer my questions thoroughly. He is not inexpensive but his work is top quality and he stands behind his work. If there is a problem he makes it right with no questions asked.
