I built a house with them and they wanted to raise the price, after the contract was signed. They never sent the paperwork to the bank and rigged on the contract so they could sell the house for 100k more than it was worth. I will never do business with them again

The Granite Ridge team has been attentive and professional from start to finish. I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process.. My Project Manager, Donnie is amazing!! He is key to the success of the entire process going so smoothly!!! To Donnie this wasn’t just another house to build, it was a home. He genuinely cared and took pride in his work. He made sure I was informed and satisfied with every detail. He is professional, attentive and knowledgeable. . I am blessed to have him as my project manager!!

I am a single mom who started the home building process in March 2020 at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic. I was very nervous about building but everyone at Granite Ridge has made the process so very easy! From Dennis my salesperson, the operator who answers the phones, Chelsea the decorator, and to Will Loomis my project manager I have felt very comfortable. Will L. has been extremely informative and patient with me. Coming to the job site to explain every little detail and answer my crazy questions. He even listened to me cry and talked me down when I was overwhelmed with everything. I’m looking forward to moving into our new home and giving my kids a place to grow. Thank you Granite Ridge!! Granite Ridge Builders is a wonderful company to work with. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. I was blown away by their showroom and how large it is. It truly is a one stop shop. I don’t think many people realize how nice it is to pick out everything in one location AND see what it looks like. The sales staff, selection coordinators / decorators, and project supervisors are all knowledgeable and friendly. The BuilderTrend software that’s used to track your build from start to finish is absolutely amazing. It’s an app that we were given to track the build of our home from start to finish. It gives you access to all your documentation from start to finish. It’s nice to have a program like this that gives you access to photos, paperwork, and updates throughout the construction process. I can’t say enough positive things about Granite Ridge Builders. If you’re thinking about building a home you should really give them a call. I’m certainly glad we did.

We have now built two homes with Granite Ridge and we have been extremely satisfied and impressed. Our homes were completed on-time and with the outstanding quality that Granite Ridge is known for. I have zero hesitation in recommending them to family and friends.

Don't walk, run as fast as you can away from this builder. They don't come close to being a custom builder as they advertise. Use the cheapest grades of everything, but charge you as though everything is custom! Worst customer service we have experienced by any service company. Being in business my entire life, I really do not understand how this business has stayed open!

Disrespectful and constant delays during the planning process. Made excuses and blamed orhers rather than fixing a problem when it occurred

I am in the process of building a home with Granite Ridge. My experience so far has been awesome, everyone is so helpful and they make the home building process very easy and fun. Just beginning the project and hoping everything goes as well as the beginning has!

Granite Ridge Builders did an amazing job with my home! It was built right, on time, and even under what I had budgeted! I love my home and I look forward to in a few years building another one with them!

Beware of Granite Ridge!! They cut corners and do not fix issues that are clearly their fault. We moved in December of 2013 and I still am so disappointed with their quality. When we first built with them, they tried to sell us property in Perry Lake which they have no business selling. The land is not suitable for building. We had a soil test done and was told the dirt was not fit to be built on. They pressured us to continue building on this property even though they knew it was not good. After 6 months of wasting our time on that bad property, we found a different piece of land and was forced to build with them because we had already signed a contract. They told us we were going to be a top priority. We were far from being a priority. The whole building process was stressful for my husband who was always overseeing the project and calling to get things done in a timely fashion. If he wasn't on them constantly we would not have finished on time. The last straw is our lawn. It looks terrible! When we told them that the grass was not growing, they said it was because we did not water it. My husband bought 12 hoses and was watering the lawn at all hours of the day and night, They cut corners by not putting top soil down and using a very thin layer of straw and cheap seed. I have seen other lawns of Granite Ridge and have noticed that those lawns look equally bad. Looks like Granite Ridge has a pattern of poor quality and blaming the customer. Also, the paint is cheap and when they come out to do the yearly check up, they said anything they paint won't match. That is ridiculous! After the carpet and lament flooring was installed, I nearly cried because it was so thin and cheap. After speaking with our representative, I was reassured that they only use top quality. Then the concrete in the drive way cracks and they take no responsibility. We asked that they fix it and they refused. My husband was then forced to scream and curse to get our concrete drive fixed. Also my husband caught them only installing one sump pump when we clearly paid and asked for two. Luckily my husband was there the day they were about to pour the basement to stop them since they did not have both pumps installed or we would be left with only one sump pump. I could go on an one about how terrible and stressful the building process was with Granite Ridge.
