Fred and his team have been diligent, they delivered our house on time time and were true to Fred’s original quote. I have never experienced such a dictated group of individuals. They are super responsive, have extraordinary work ethics, as well as a very high lever of craftsmanship. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Fred Lappe was in charge of building our house 13 years ago, and has maintained it since. He worked with our architect from the beginning and as a team built a house that my wife and I are still thrilled with. After all this time there is not one thing in design or construction that we wished we had done, but didn't. Fred is a man of absolute integrity, and broad experience in building and remodeling. He also has an artistic sensibility coupled with a knowledge of what is realistically possible. This allowed him to make suggestions during our building process that greatly enhanced the end result. We can recommend Fred without reservation. He is an absolute gem.

Fred Lappe was hired at the recommendation of good friends and took over the correction of problems that another contractor had created, when we were fixing up a newly purchased home. I have built several homes for my wife and myself, built a housing development and office facilities and care not only about the "finish" workmanship but the quality of the systems behind the walls. All of Fred's subcontractors have been excellent, and his work is on time and on budget. If we were to build a new house, i would not hesitate to use Fred. Lastly he is always available, amenable and cheerful. I give him the highest recommendation. There is no project too large or too small or too complicated that he isn't willing or capable of taking care of. Note a project completion date is required to complete this form but we intend to use Fred as long as we have a home on Long Island so the date is meaningless.
