I used Everything Under the Roof as my general contractor for a renovation in Branford. Right from the start, Kim was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. I worked closely with Jay over the course of a few months and was consistently impressed by his professionalism and skill. They arranged a lot of the subcontracting for me, but were also flexible when I found my own people I wanted to use. Jay is meticulous and really cares about everything coming out perfectly. Even after the project ended, Jay has remained available when I've needed help. Before hurricane Henri, he went by to make sure my screen door was bolted and after hurricane Ida, he came to fix my sump pump. I recommend them very highly.

Kim and Jay were amazing to work with. Our project was a master bath remodel in addition to our dressing room with 4 closets (done by Joe at 3 Sons custom closets). It was a complete transformation of the space. Tackling this project during a pandemic was questionable at first and Kim helped with all aspects. She delivered samples, communicated with all the vendors and Jay and his team were courteous and the workspace was left clean each day. The workmanship was outstanding, down to every last detail. We now have a master bath and dressing room we are thrilled about. Photos attached, the last one is the original bathroom, dusty pink tiles and all!

Our master bathroom was renovated by EUTR. Jay and Kim were great to work with. It has been 6 months since the job was completed, and we are still thrilled with the workmanship.

EUTR just wrapped up a remodel in my home – we did the kitchen, an existing bathroom, and then added a new bathroom. The work is outstanding, and the process was smooth, easy, and dare I say fun! Kim was a lifesaver when it came to making design choices and purchasing. She offered honest opinions and helpful tips, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had her as part of the process. I work from home, so I was present every step of the way for the renovation. Jay was so easy and fun to work with! He never came to me with problems or drama, he always had easy solutions or options for me. My house was actually cleaner during the reno than it normally is – the guys were always dusting and vacuuming, leaving my home spotless each night. This was really important to me as I have two dogs and I didn’t want them to find trash or debris (semi-related, my dogs loved Jay so much they went through withdrawal after the work was complete). I always knew exactly what the plan was for the day or week. Jay was super organized and easy to work with, so it never felt like chaos (despite almost every room in my home being in some stage of construction). You 100% will get what you pay for with Jay and Kim. I had really healthy allowances for items because they listened to what I wanted and budgeted very realistically – this was also really important to me because I didn’t have a large emergency buffer. And I didn’t need a penny of it because the job came in right on budget! I will without reservation recommend to all my friends and use EUTR for any future work I do.

Kim and Jay did a great job on our kitchen renovation and bath. From the beginning they went out of their way to explain how the process would unfold. They helped us make all those difficult choices a homeowner has to make in a step by step process. I was impressed by the logistics and coordination that they take on a project. If Jay saw something (infrastructure or wiring or plumbing) that needed attention he pointed it out, and I feel so much better that this old house was improved. The project was completed in a timely manner. They went out of their way in workmanship, design, construction and detail work so that every aspect of the project is sound, workable, and pleasing to the eye. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. If you are planning any renovation, and you want the project done in a timely and professional manner by a true crafts-person, and a great designer team and down to earth folks, I highly recommend EUTR.

I chose Everything Under the Roof for a kitchen and upstairs bathroom renovation in a Cape Cod-style house and am very pleased with the outcome. EUTR did a great job of detailing all the expected costs for the project and working with me to ensure that I was able to get what I wanted. Jay and Kim provided guidance about various choices I had to make throughout, were upfront about any issues that inevitably crop up during these projects, and offered alternatives if adjustments needed to be made. Additionally, the scheduling of the different subcontractors was done as efficiently as possible, so the time to completion was reasonable.. I have had several visitors spontaneously comment on the quality of the work. This was the first renovation project that I have undertaken, and it was money well spent. I'm glad I chose Everything Under the Roof!

I had a fantastic experience with Everything Under the Roof this past summer. After moving back into my home following two years with tenants, there were several home repairs that needed to be addressed. I called Jay at the recommendation of my mother, who had had a very good experience with Everything Under the Roof for a master bathroom renovation. Jay was very responsive and returned my call quickly, then made plans to see my home within a few days. I hired him for the renovation of our master bathroom shower, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Kim met me twice to decide on tiles for the shower, and Jay and his team were efficient, professional, and meticulous over the course of the week they were here. A friend who is an interior designer saw the finished product and was very impressed by the quality. I am a perfectionist who wouldn't recommend anyone who didn't live up to my high standards! You will not be disappointed if you choose Everything Under the Roof.

Everything Under the Roof did a complete renovation of our master bath recently. Jay was excellent conveying to us what they could do and staying true to his estimate. He gave us an update each night as to what they had done and finished in a very timely manner. We appreciated that our house was left clean and picked up each day. It was a pleasure working with Jay, Kim, and all of his subcontractors. Our bathroom is beautiful and we are very happy.

The subcontractors were very good as well, having been carefully screened by Kim and Jay. The project was completed meticulously and in a timely fashion. EUTR recently completed my bathroom renovation to introduce features making it accessible, long term. The outcome is exactly what I desired within budget. Jay and Kim provide a complementary partnership. Kim assisted me with selection of components, noting what I might take into consideration as I shopped. Her experience and insight were invaluable. After reviewing my preliminary plans and objectives, Jay proposed changes which would capitalize on all available space for use. He accepted the challenge of installing ceiling height full sheet resin shower wall panels with perfect results. Jay and Gary are a super team. Each demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and skill as I witnessed the progression of the project. They adhere to a high professional standard of quality and are sticklers to detail which pleased me immensely. They protected the floors of my home with runners and continually vacuumed dust and debris. EUTR engaged specialty subcontractors (tiling, sheetrock taping) who work product was exceptional and who arrived dependably as scheduled by Jay. Jay and Kim are strong communicators about next steps, potential changes, and attendance. My experience with EUTR was excellent. I would not hesitate to engage their services in the future.

Jay and the crew from Everything Under the Roof were incredible! They transformed an old, outdated finished basement into an incredible new living space (family room and bedroom). To say they are simply home improvement 'contractors' does not do justice to everything they did... They are 'craftsmen' with a commitment to taking your ideas and making them a reality with high quality workmanship. From the initial consultation my wife and I were very comfortable with the team, and we only had one prior (poor) home improvement construction experience. They are organized, very clear and detailed about what to expect, choices needed to be made by when, and then open communication along the way. And, when unexpected things popped up they handled them by giving us options, and helped to keep the project on track. Whenever you open your home to strangers it can be a little awkward... but not with these guys. We (and our dogs!) felt very comfortable with them over the few weeks. Completely trustworthy and always acted in our best interest. Can't recommend them more.... and we will use them for our next project!

Our contract was for a kitchen update to include granite counters, tile backsplash and all new appliances. A custom wine rack (for 18 bottles) was installed in the old ice maker space and it looks great! After the kitchen was done, our master bathroom was started. This was a total redo. We are delighted with our walk in shower- so long 80's jacuzzi tub! The shower stall area is now a wonderful closet. Attention was paid to every detail and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. The work was done in the time specified and the work area was vacuumed and cleaned daily. Jay and Kim accommodated my schedule as needed and Kim was especially helpful with some design features as well as stone and tile coordination and we would recommend them without reservation.

Kim & Jay were great! They were professional, knowledgeable and worked with us to meet our vision for renovations, while offering advice where we lacked direction. They completed both jobs in a timely fashion and turned our master bedroom and bath into updated, modern versions of the previously outdated ones. We are very pleased with the results. :)

We worked with Everything under the roof to renovate our full bathroom this fall and couldn't be happier. I really enjoy working with Kim to design our new bathroom, she was very responsive and had great ideas and suggestion. Jay and Gary were equally great to work with. They would update us each day as to what was completed and kept me informed as to what to expect for the next day. The work area was kept nice and tidy and we are extremely happy with the end result. Jay and Gary totally renovated a condo for me. I had no idea what I was doing and they, along with Kim, guided me through each step. They were very patient with my changes,etc. The outcome was beautiful!!!! The condo looks great.

My husband and I had Everything Under The Roof renovate our small master bath. Prior to the renovation the bathroom had a very cheap shower/tub combo, a single vanity and an underutilized bathroom closet. We felt the master bath didn't match the rest of the house, which is why we wanted to renovate. They designed a bathroom with a double vanity, soaking tub and a large L-shaped walk-in shower. The project moved quickly and I was shown the progress made at the end of each work day. The work was done with great care, thought and attention to detail. They are also incredibly neat workers which is a huge bonus! The final product is beautiful and doesn't even feel like the same house! EUTR is a great family-owned small business who are trustworthy and easy to work with.

I hired Everything Under the Roof to do a complete overhaul of my kitchen, mudroom and bath. My house is over 200 years old and the kitchen was at least 40 years old. It is now the kitchen and bath of my dreams. They worked hard to stay in budget, they were extremely helpful in picking out appliances, counter tops etc, and worked within the time frame promised. Most importantly, they are very friendly, easy to work with and NEAT! I plan to use Everything Under the Roof for all my home projects.

I have had the best experience working with Everything Under the Roof. Jay and Kim as a team are so easy to work with. Kim keeps you within your budget, helps do the shopping and makes it easy for you to make choices from what she finds, but she uses your criteria and will give input when asked. I REALLY appreciated her input and trusted her so much, I asked her to make some decisions for me when I had a family emergency, and I love what she chose. She makes the project so much easier for the homeowner. Jay also has some great ideas and suggested some things I never would have thought of, plus he is very meticulous with his work and Jay and Gary did very neat, exact work. They also could work around any issues you may have. I first had my kitchen/family room redone, loved their work and then redid my bedroom/bathroom.
