We had a FABULOUS experience with Downeast Homes. Jay Carlsen and his highly skilled crew completely renovated two of our homes in Owls Head. The Downeast team did a total makeover which included new bathrooms, new kitchens, septic systems ,windows and floors. One of our projects was a 100+ year old cabin. Downeast was able to modernize the cabin while still keeping the quintessential Maine look and feel that we fell in love with from the start. The work was done on time and within our budget. Everyone we worked with at Downeast Homes was professional, positive, honest, and meticulous about the delivered product. Jay and Jim consistently offered helpful suggestions on the best ways to make our renovation dreams come true. This guidance was so welcome. Downeast Homes created something very special for our family and we will always be so grateful. Jay runs his business with character and integrity. This combined with his attention to detail made an extensive renovation stress free for us. Jay and his team at Downeast will ALWAYS be our first and only choice when building or renovating in the area.
