Women BEWARE he overcharges you when he says he won't charge you and he's not worth $80 per hour. I found Dave in an advertisement and let me just say he's HORRIBLE! Not only is he not worth the $80 per hour (I was desperate, because I needed a wall removed in my basement so another guy could repair a leak) he is sloppy, always late or doesn't show up at all. I had a punch list of small repairs like change out electric outlets, fix a faucet head, caulk a bathroom, and a couple other little jobs and he took too long and was milking pay by the hour fee so I only ended up using him for the most important little jobs I had for his rate of $80 per hour. He came over 4 times to finish the job and each time he was 30-40 mins late or he cancelled on me. Yes, I did the Christian thing and over paid him even when he told me the last drywall work he wouldn't charge me, because it was light skimming to a wall he assembled and reassembled for me. He came over 3 more times for 10 mins (always late) and charged me $150 when he told me he wasn't going to charge me!! From the very beginning if his rate is $80 per hour how did he come up with $150 for 30 mins? He didn't even finish the sanding and he left all the dust and sand on the floor when he dashed out and I told him this is sheer highway robbery ($150 for not even 30 mins work), but you know karma will come back and bite him.
