Cameron Curtis – the founder of Curtis Homes – learned the building trade while working alongside his grandfather, and has continued to pour his abilities into crafting quality construction projects. - We are defined by our prompt, precise & professional craftsmanship. - Our building services is for you. During his freshman year at Corban University in Salem, Oregon hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans leaving thousands homeless. Seeing the immense need for able tradesman, Cameron traveled south to pour his energy, skill, and heart into rebuilding hope into lives of others. It was there in New Orleans that Curtis Construction & Remodeling was born. After living in New Orleans gutting and rebuilding homes in New Orleans, Cameron returned to Salem and established Curtis Construction & Remodeling – a company focused on offering quality construction. While attending Corban University, Cameron met his wife, Emily. Together they ran Curtis Construction & Remodeling, serving the Salem area by offering quality construction and unparalleled customer service. Cameron and Emily relocated to the Gorge where Emily grew up. Seeking to complement the unique climate and culture of the Gorge, the Curtis’ family developed a plan to build durable and affordable homes – homes that would incorporate an energy-efficient design and a unique edge of creativity, while promoting a healthy, livable atmosphere for your family. While touring a Curtis Homes show house in Discovery West, we met Cameron and his team. We were impressed with them first as people, and then with their talent as home builders. We entered the show house just thinking about building in Discovery West and left knowing we wanted to work with Curtis Homes. Throughout the process, the Curtis Team never ceased to amaze us with their professionalism, attention to detail, true passion for their work and care for their clients. We felt like an extended part of the family. Building a home can be daunting and tedious with all the decisions, and the team was so helpful and always willing to talk through decisions and offer ideas. The result is our top-quality, forever home that we absolutely love, thanks to Curtis Homes.

Cameron and Thad have both the experience and expertise we wanted in a builder for our project in Hood River. They did not disappoint! CurtisHomes provided excellent service throughout the entire process and after project care has been exceptional. We didn’t live in HR during construction and appreciated daily photo updates. We’re really grateful for CurtisHomes expertise but even more for their responsiveness and kind professionalism they extend to everyone they interact with. We heartily recommend CurtisHomes and will hire them again!

It was after an organic meeting with Jesse & Cameron in one of their Central Oregon Tour of Home houses that Kim and I decided to pursue building a home with the Curtis team. We were fortunate to have the pleasure of embarking on a start-to-finish build with the Curtis team in Bend, OR, and our journey through this process was both transparent and supportive from all members of the Curtis team. From the beginning, Jesse and Cameron were upfront with pricing and worked with us to encompass our "wish list" within our budget-parameters. It was refreshing to work directly with Cameron Curtis (owner) and know that he genuinely had an interest in keeping us on-budget with realistic expectations and costing updates (material shortages & changes). Over the course of 2-years (lot lottery, permits, building, etc.) we experienced professionalism, expertise, and generosity from our Project Superintendent and Interior Designer, Cole & Makinsi MacInnes. During this time, we had direct access to Cole & Makinsi to answer our questions, make design choices, and pepper them with “first time builder” stresses. It was immensely helpful touring other Curtis Homes in town with Makinsi to look at finishes and get inspiration for our own selections. When design-fatigue hit, Makinsi was always willing to show us other completed homes (pictures or in person) to help us make a decision and keep us on-track. To this day Kim and I are forever grateful for the costing-transparency, patience, and friendly experience that we had building a home with Curtis Homes.

WE LOVE OUR DREAM HOME IN HOOD RIVER, OR!!! Excellent craftsmanship, quality materials, and attention to detail throughout this farm-style house made it an easy decision to purchase. Minor problems (missed paint spot here or there, etc.) were addressed quickly and with high degree of customer service and follow though (thank you, Jeff & Cameron!). Having lived here for one year now, our family couldn't be more happy everything worked out and feel fortunate to live in a Curtis built home!

Cannot say enough good things about Curtis and his team of professionals! They guided us through the entire process perfectly and they were always eager to listen. Shout out to Makinsi for making the process of selecting colors, fixtures, flooring, etc. super fun and easy. The quality of their home builds are second-to-none no matter what style of home you choose. My wife and I loved our experience with them, I'm sure you will too.

After touring several new homes built in Bend, I decided to work with Curtis Homes. The quality and style of their builds were exactly what I was looking for. From the first of several meetings with Cameron, to the project management of the build, to the on-going support I still experience one week after moving into my new home, I could not be happier. Cameron and his team are honest, creative and fair. I knew up front exactly what to expect both in terms of timeline and cost. Everything I asked for, that could be done, was done. I have a truly beautiful, well built home and I'm so glad I chose Curtis Homes.

After our house fire we were stressed and Curtis Homes brought the calm. We contacted multiple design and build firms in the Gorge Area, as well as, some outside competitors and Curtis Homes provided the greatest return on investment. From day one of planning Cameron provided detailed explanations of the process steps, as well as excellent recommendations for pre build contractors (i.e. architect, surveyor, ect) and subs. Once we completed planning and had our quote building only took 9 months that’s including weather delays and government shutdowns (covid). During the build process I was able to meet weekly with my site lead, to discuss every detail of the design and make tweaks along the way. There were no hidden fees and costs. They have an excellent warranty and everyone on the team is reliable, friendly and great to work with. I couldn’t be more happy with how our design turned out. It looks even better than what we had on paper. I have so many positives to say ill create a short list; They were able to get us a written exception to the governor’s construction hold. They recommended an architect of quality with great experience that was affordable Fast responses to emails Truly compassionate staff Willingness to meet early and often. Allowed for a very hands on experience Quality More affordable than the competition No hidden fees and worked with our budget. Great coffee from Stoked Coffee Roasters 1 year warranty

First saw Curtis Homes on the Central Oregon Tour of Homes in July 2019. Was very impressed with the quality, attention to detail and functionality of floor plans. Continued looking around but could not find this quality in a smaller home. Cameron had a lot in Hidden Hills in Bend and a wonderful 1800 sq ft plan that would fit the lot. We were downsizing from 2600 sq ft and he was happy to make the minor changes in the plan to enhance the storage to meet our needs. Construction began in early February 2020 and we moved in June 22d. The entire process was fun to watch and Cole MacInnis was a delight to work with. Completely professional from ground breaking to move in. A solid home that we are delighted to own. Thanks Cameron and Cole.

We originally contacted Cameron looking to build a home after seeing multiple homes Curtis Homes built that we were very fond of. They actually had a home on the market we were able to buy and after two months in our dream home,, we couldn't be more pleased. The entire team has followed through with utmost professionalism. We have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so. The quality and craftsmanship are routinely remarked on by our guests, but more importantly, it's an amazing home to raise our 4 daughters in. We fell in love with a 2019 COBA home tours home that Curtis Homes built from a Muddy River Design in Bend. We bought a lot in Sisters a few years ago and decided to jump in and contact the Curtis Homes team to see what our options were. Cameron got back to us immediately, met with us in-person, and helped us line out a budget, timeline and expectations. Jared Vogt was our Project Manager working under Cameron in Sisters, OR and I cannot sing his praises enough. Him and Cameron helped us navigate and negotiate with vendors and contractors...always fighting for our interests and the best overall value for us. Poor Jared, I don't know how many times we changed our minds on him, but his answer was always "No problem, I will get it done". I am pretty sure he is the nicest person I have ever met and he really knows how to drive the contractors. His focus was ALWAYS on getting us exactly what we wanted and making sure it was done right. Curtis Homes started construction on our custom home in March and we got to move in in August! 2020 has been a crazy year and with COVID, I was so thankful to still have a great personal relationship with the Curtis Homes team. They were great at communicating with us through the entire build. Thank you Curtis Homes! Can't recommend this team enough.

There isn't enough space to express our appreciation and enthusiasm for Cameron & his team. Attentive and accommodating, professional and reliable, high quality craftsmanship, and personable customer service made what could have been a stressful project into a kick-ass fun experience. We also received excellent communications & follow-through from subs and suppliers. We expect to leave this house "toes up." What a wonderful way to go! Update: It's been a year since moving into our home and we continue to have an excellent relationship with the Curtis Homes' project site manager, office executive and Cameron, the owner. We even have a great relationship with their subs who provided additional personalization for us, such as a built-in library and a three-tired fountain and rock landscape.
