Dan and his team at Country Creek Builders did a fantastic job on our kitchen / main floor remodel. Very professional from the beginning helping us put together a layout and design. The estimate was competitive with the others we received and more importantly so was their schedule. They delivered on schedule and, with the exception of a few tweaks, they delivered on budget. We are happy we moved forward with the project and with Country Creek and never regretted it. His crew was great to have in my house (which had 5 kids running around it). They were always helpful and respectful of the chaos and you could tell they cared about doing it right and ultimately we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Dan and his team are the best in the business. Originally, I hired CCB to remodel my kitchen. But after their fabulous work I then used them to replace all the windows and doors in my entire house, build a 4-season porch and build a large deck. They pay great attention to detail and go above and beyond what I expected. CCB completed the jobs in timely manner and consistently communicated status and next steps. I highly recommend them to anyone considering any home remodeling project.

Country Creek is the only place you need to look for a contractor! They do everything! I got 3 different referrals, and they were all within a couple hundred of dollars from each other. So Country Creek is right on point with price. He also gave the most DETAILED bid. I could see exactly what we were paying for, and knew I wouldn't get screwed with any charges at the end that weren't included. We had our master bathroom completely gutted and redone. I had a vision of what I wanted, but Dan walked me through the whole thing and gave me different ideas or opinions on what he thinks would look best. We ended up taking out the walls where the toilet was to make it one big open space, and I'm glad we did! The amount of light that is now in the bathroom along with the open feel is more than I could have asked for! Dan and his small crew of 4 guys stand behind their work. If you aren't happy with anything, they fix it for you. We had a few small pieces of tiles on our shower floor that had little marks on them, and sure enough they took they out and replaced them with other pieces. They have an eye for detail and are very proud of their work. They want the customer to be 100% happy! We will use them for every other project we have in the future. Deck refinishing, painting our siding, kitchen remodel, and anything else my husband will let me do!!

Dan was amazing! Dan went beyond the call of duty for our home. We spend a lot of time out of town so much of the work had to be done via email and phone calls. He did admit he was nervous at first not having the homeowner available 24/7, but Dan and his crew were experts whom we trusted with many decisions that turned out perfect. He used our input to make things work and gave helpful insight when we had questions or concerns. He was always honest and fair, and the quality of work done by himself and his subcontractors was exceptional. Country Creek Builders is well worth the investment!

In the spring of 2015, I began the search for a builder that could design and build a handicap accessible addition to my home that would create a first floor leaving space for my mother. I joined Angie’s List specifically to help me in the search process. I interviewed several builders all with “ A” ratings and began reading the comments of previous customers looking for someone that had a successful experience with a project similar to the one I had in mind. I did not find Country Creek Builders until August. Daniel Drenckhahn’s approach to the project from the very first was different from the previous builders I had interviewed. He listened to everything on my ‘wish list’ for the project and had ideas of on ways we could consider to reach each one. Within a week I had a copy of the initial bid and we moved forward to design planning. We spent 2-3 weeks working on design and were ready to submit the plans for city approval in late October. We received approval the beginning of Thanksgiving week and therefore started the following Monday. This is the third house on which we have worked with a contractor on new construction and this was the least stressful experience I have ever had. Let me give some specifics that made that a reality. Accurate detailed estimate – The detail and the specifics of the bid let me know exactly what I was paying for and options for changes. When compared to the prices quoted by other builders Country Creek Builders was competitive and included details that other contractors did not know to consider. Subcontractors – A list of businesses and contact people was provided for each subcontractor I needed to visit to choose things like plumbing, cabinets, paint, counter tops and carpet etc. I would introduce myself and working with Country Creek Builders and they each volunteered that if they worked with a number of builders and if they needed work on their home they would call Country Creek. Standard of excellence – Every member of the building team worked tirelessly to maintain a level of excellence that shows in the finished product. Attention to detail – every subcontractor reviewed their work with him before ending their step in the process. Building permit – understood the process for Eagan and arranged everything from the initial building approval, periodic inspections and final inspection so that the approvals occurred within in a day or two of when needed and construction was not delayed. Maintained a clean job site- before leaving each day all debris for construction was removed. No dumpster sat out in from of my house. Each subcontractor was responsible for his own mess. Skill in workmanship- Every worker on the project was and expert at what they did. From digging the foundation, framing, installing tile, insulation, painting and staining, heating, counter tops or cabinets there is not a flaw. On time or early from day one – We started construction the Monday after Thanksgiving. The crew arrived at sunup and worked to sundown until the project was completed. They arrived when promised Communication - I never had to ask for an updated because by phone, in person or email they kept me informed. We made continuous progress and the family conversation about the project when from ‘What are they going to do tomorrow?’ to ‘What did they do today?’ The teams list of completed worked was always longer than I thought they would accomplish in a day. Every question about the project was answered or addressed promptly. The fall of 2017 we asked Dan to redesign our master bath. Once again the work ethic, workmanship and final product turned out better than expected. Dan expects excellence of himself and every subcontractor or employee he works with. You simply could not make a better choice.

We were very impressed with Country Creek Builders. Dave and Dan are reliable, efficient and clearly experts in the remodeling and construction business. We loved that they were easy to reach, made good suggestions and met deadlines! Their work quality is superior, as well! We also loved that they were respectful of our home, taking shoes off, putting down tarps to cover floors and cleaning up messes. We have been in our home 25 years and decided that our family room needed a “facelift!” After interviewing several contractors we were sold on Dan Drenckhahn and Country Creek Builders. Sometimes the sales pitch can be more than what is actually delivered, but Dan and his crew did not disappoint! They were always on time at the job site, the house was always impeccably tidy before they left at the end of the day, and they were very accommodating to our questions and changes that we made during the project. We love everything about the new & improved family room look, but the most impressive feature is the stone fireplace! We replaced our brick fireplace with stone and every stone showroom sales person said “the fireplace will only be as good as your mason.” We wondered if ‘young’ Dave would be up for the task and he far exceeded our expectations. His eye for color and design were exceptional. People are wowed by the beautiful fireplace! Clearly, we would highly recommend Country Creek Builders for your remodeling endeavors!
