Hello, I'm Austin Kegler - Owner of A&K Renovations and Home Repair. I have been in the remodeling industry for 10 years and 3 years ago started my own remodeling business. I would consider myself the working general contractor. I work mostly by myself, so I will be the one that comes out to meet with you on the jobsite about your projects, quoting them out, helping with designing as needed, and I will be the one doing the actual work. I have found that being on the job the whole time makes the job run much more smoothly, and less major issues arise. This is also very helpful if any minor changes needed to be made during the job. My goal is to always make sure you are 100% satisfied with how your project turns out.

Austin was very professional and knowledgeable. Our bathroom remodel was pretty extensive but Austin was up to the task. He removed a pocket door wall and closed off a second entrance. Took our tub/shower combo down to the studs for a walk in shower. Waterproofed everything. Did plumbing work, electrical, tiling, painting…etc. He arrived every single day on time. Never late which is super important to us. I will definitely work with him again in the future.

Austin did a complete home remodel for us and I can’t say enough about his work ethic and final product. From the ceilings to the foundation, he did all the work himself and was thorough with each room. He is very knowledgeable, which shows through his suggestions and by providing information about things we didn’t know to ask. He was never pushy and never tried to up sell, simply informed us of options. He is very punctual and easy to communicate with. It’s been quite some time since he finished the work yet he is still willing to stop by if we have concerns or questions. Austin does very good work and is fair regarding prices. He knows his work is good, has high standards, and expects to be compensated accordingly. Some of my favorites from our home remodel include the curbless shower, the under stair dog house, and the laundry room addition.

I wanted to add a screen door / security door over my rear door. The Lowe's rep came out first to take measurements and told me they would be able to install my screen door, because there was something on the face of the house blocking access to the installation. Austin came out next. He pointed to the TV Cable above the existing door jam. That must be what Lowe's was objecting to! Austin moved the cable 1 inch and performed the installation. Austin has the right attitude of "let's look for ways to make this happen". Thank you, A&K Renovations!

We enjoyed working with Austin who completed many jobs at our first home; renovation of two bathrooms, laundry room, install of ship lap on an accent wall and nursery, install of barn door, etc. Austin is knowledgeable, experienced and extremely clean in his work. We have recommended Austin to friends and family and would not hesitate to have work done at our new home in the future!

I typically don’t pay for work to be done because I’m never happy with the finished product or process but Austin has delivered and exceeded our expectations every time. Austin was absolutely amazing to work with! We had an issue with our water pressure reducing valve that caused all our pipes to hum along with a leaky shower head faucet. He got us in the schedule quickly and finished all the work within a day! No more humming walls and leaky shower- woohoo! He’s extremely detailed in his work and very professional. I highly recommend using Austin on your next renovation project!
