Paid $474 deposit in August 2020 for a stove repair. Despite several dozen unanswered phone calls & emails, we have received absolutely nothing as of September 2021. This place is a ripoff. Buyer beware.

I just got my parlor stove installed today. It was a very long waiting process for it to come in, but understandable with the pandemic slowing things down. They came and installed it even though it was raining. The installers are very professional and good at what they do. I did not give a full five stars because I am very upset with the cigarette smell that has filled my home. I appreciate they put down drop cloths to keep my floors clean, but they reeked of cigarette smoke. I am very sensitive to those kinds of smells and I am not pleased. It is going to take me a while to get the smell out.

Owner is a joke and doesn’t return or even will pick up the phone when he is in the office called the shop while looking at him in the building and was told he “wasn’t in the office” while he is hiding in the corner instead of dealing with a issue of his product don’t use this place if you think there is a glimmer of hope of somethings going wrong with anything they will not stand behind their product or their work I urge you use somebody else

During the sale they were amazing. Bought a new floor model but took three days and 11 hours to install before they realized there was no ignition switch. Owner was pitiful after the sale with no customer service. Pellet still does not work as it should but they would not come out after install. Emailed called nothing. Seem great during sale and owner comes out to house but once they get your money they cared less about me

I purchased a Harman Accentra 52I Pellet insert in November. It is by far one of the best home improvements that we have done. This unit replaced a gas fireplace that was there for 15 years and no our home is warmer than ever and my heating cost is down. From the site check to the installation it was a good experience. The installation crew was very professional and thorough. They took the time to go over the operation of the unit and made sure the house was as clean as it was when they arrived. Definitely worth checking them out if you are looking for a good heat source..

Stopped in the Gorham store for a quote, was like pulling teeth. Went to Windham and Brian? was over the top helpful!!! Very nice, professional, and answered any and all questions. Was told about 3 weeks for install, took about two months. Communication, as in other reviews could be better. Installation guys were fantastic! Curtious and professional. Pleased with the gas stove and installation.

Frost & Flame were great to work with. The associate at the store spent time discussing options on a difficult project of a propane fireplace insert at the Gorham location. They came out to do a site visit and met expectations on ordering a custom surround. They brought their own drop cloths and made sure they cleaned up after propane fireplace install.

We had Frost & Flame install a gas insert for our dining room fireplace with a custom surround to match the shape of our brickwork. They also built a custom cap for our chimney. Everything looks amazing, and it was so nice to finally be WARM in our dining room at the push of a button! The initial estimator, the guys who came out to do the final measuring, and the installers were always on time and were professional and courteous--even when they had to climb on my icy three-story roof to take the measurements and then again to do the install. We couldn't be happier!

As a big city boy, I'm not very good with fireplaces. When I used somewhat green wood by mistake and smoked up the house, my wife told me we were going to get a fireplace insert instead. I contacted Frost & Flame and the owner Steve Richard himself came out to my house. He took the time to explain all of the insert options including the benefits and the downside of each. I got a very clear understanding of what I needed and wanted. Steve measured everything and his guys came out and did a letter perfect installation. The unit is great and the Frost & Flame expertise got me out of the doghouse!!! I should also add that my initial reason in going to F&F was that my overall research showed me that they also had the best prices. Thanks again to Frost & Flame!

I was happy with the finished product of a replacement propane fireplace in my home recently. The old fireplace seemed to be burning differently than usual. The owner came to my house and quickly condemned it saying it was a significant fire risk. Come to find out the old unit had no fire protection as it should have where it exited the house! The installers did a great job having to open the house from the outside removing siding, framing and the old stove in order to not disturb the mantle, the slate flooring or hard wood. It went smoothly as expected without a scratch. As the new stove did not quite fit the old spot completely so they fabricated a piece of metal to fill in a 5 inch gap that is completely in synch with the stove and mantle. So thanks Frost and Flame! Looks great..more features than the old fireplace. You have a good team who were efficient, neat and respectful. I would use you again in a heartbeat. Betsy Bernazzani

I highly recommend Frost & Flame for your stove and fireplace purchases, installs, enhancements and problem solving. They closed in a 60 year old fireplace with custom screen/glass bi-fold doors and our house is over 35% warmer and we are saving money on our monthly heating bill..for years I was losing heat and now the home is snug at night and no longer freezing in the morning. They did everything they said they would on the date they promised
