Mr. Jay Browning is one of those rare professionals Who is not only a highly skilled contractor and builder, He is an artist with Brick, block and stone. He collaborated with us on all the projects we hired him for. He helped with the design and construction of our swimming pool which included a waterfall feature, beautiful flagstone decking surrounding the pool, along with pillars for two sets of gates. The project turned out to be a one in 1 million showpiece. Completely custom work. We could not have been happier with the finished product. Jay also designed a huge stone fireplace with the biggest fire box available, a custom hearth, and handmade mantle piece. It looks like a lodge in Yosemite Valley. Absolutely stunning work. We have contracted with Jay for a beautiful brick entry and patio over the years. All of his work is solid, and without flaw. You will be beyond impressed and we hope he uses photos of our beautiful projects On his web site. Thank you Jay

We chose Browning Masonry to do the fireplace job in our home, and now we have a beautiful piece of art in our family room that we enjoy every day! Replacing a fireplace is inherently a messy business, and I was very impressed at the care Jay took to section off the work area, cover the floor and furniture, and make sure that everything was protected. When he was done, he took his time making sure to thoroughly clear the area, so we had only minimal cleanup. I found Jay to be exceptionally respectful of the space, which I really appreciated. Our experience with Browning Masonry was resoundingly positive. It's a small business that can really offer a personalized experience, and I cannot say enough about the beautiful result. I used to not really utilize our family room.. now, I enjoy my morning coffee by the fireplace every morning. I'm definitely one who can appreciate a true trade specialist, and that is exactly what you are getting with Browning Masonry.

We contracted with Browning Masonry to reface our fireplace in our Danville home. Let me start off by saying that we could not have had a more perfect experience all around. Jay, the owner, was professional to work with and knew exactly what I wanted for the outcome in our stone refacing. We had a floor to ceiling brick facing that required him to completely remove all the brick, put up sheet rock, and reface it in stone, along with a new hearth. This was all done seamlessly. We later had Jay come back to convert our fireplace from wood burning to gas. On a side note, we were in the middle of a complete kitchen and flooring remodel. Among all the contractors and subcontractors in our home, Jay was the only contractor that was on time, cleaned up each day before leaving, and kept to his promised time schedule and total cost.
