I have used Sawdust City for several custom projects and have been completely satisfied with their attention to detail and craftsmanship. Megan (Sensitive Information Hidden) worked with me on a particularly intricate mud room unit and she was instrumental in making sure everything that I had in my plans would be exactly what I wanted. We emailed and talked on the phone several times. She helped me understand some of the limitations of my design and offered great suggestions to get me to the finished product I desired. She also saved me money as well. I highly recommend her and all the craftsmen at Sawdust City.

I am a really hard guy to impress. Most companies and corporations these days are not very concerned with customer service, attention to detail or making customers happy. I am very thrilled to say that this is not the case with Ms. Megan (Sensitive Information Hidden) of Sawdust City, LLC! From the moment I called the company after discovering them online, I could not have been treated with more courtesy, professionalism and friendliness. Quickly into the process of getting a custom stove topper constructed, I was referred to their custom furniture designer, Ms. Megan (Sensitive Information Hidden). This lady was the answer to getting the project done the way I needed it to be done. I found a stove topper cover design on their website, and expressed to Megan that I needed some important modifications done. She was completely patient and accommodated my desire to get these modifications done and make sure everything fit correctly. I could tell that she sensed my apprehension about buying a custom piece of furniture, having it shipped from Wisconsin to the gulf coast of Alabama, and then discovering that it would not fit correctly. We measured and measured and re-measured, and I thought we were done. She then added a cool spice rack! It was a very meticulous process, and she was extremely patient and cooperative throughout all of this intricate level of detail. We chose the color of stain for the wood, and then they went to work. I was surprised at how rapidly they were able to finish this project and get it shipped to us. The packing guy for this company is amazing. I have never seen something packed so well in cardboard in my entire life. This guy has a PhD in packing, and their cardboard boxes are super strong! I pulled the stove topper out of the box and carried it into the kitchen to place on top of the stove. Megan did such an amazing job of doing these measurements and conveying it to the craftsmen that they nailed it beyond my wildest expectations! It fit like a glove! The rustic Pinewood with beautiful walnut stain is just gorgeous! She nailed every detail with precision and accuracy and a desire to make the product the best she could for us! If someone is interested in really cool rustic furniture that is gorgeous and utilitarian, these are the people to call. I can personally guarantee that if you want to design something from scratch or take one of their designs and customize it, Ms. Megan Miller is your go to lady! When we need something made in the future, I am calling them first.

We absolutely love our new cabinets. We’re very happy with the quality and they fit in our space perfectly! The packaging was superb and the fact that they arrived fully assembled was a plus for sure. All we had to do was secured the top cabinet to the bottom cabinet and attached the door pulls….easy. The custom ordering process and the communication back and forth was first rate! We will definitely order from Sawdust City again! A+ all around! Thank you so much for the beautiful cabinets!

Over the past 6 years, I have ordered several custom furniture pieces from Sawdust City. I was having such a hard time finding furniture in the right size, color and style to fit my space. I stumbled upon Sawdust City and took a chance with them, and I have been so happy with everything they'd made for me. To date, they'd made two end tables, a TV stand, a master closet full-length jewelry case/mirror and the latest piece... a dining area sideboard/pantry. All pieces were custom-made to my exact specifications. They even were able to completely match my new sideboard/panty exactly to the end tables I started with 6 years ago. Incredible! I have a cabin full of custom pieces that fit perfectly! Working with Megan at Sawdust City is super easy. She is quick to reply, and thorough with her designs and quotes. She thinks of everything! A great business transaction from start to finish. Megan helped me with all the details of my bench dimensions and was so pleasant to work with. The craftsmanship of the bench is perfect and the paint colors came out just as I hoped (Ivory and Sage solid colors). If you need a custom size piece of furniture expertly made or a size they have in stock, this is your go to business.

Working with Sawdust City could not have been a better experience! I ordered a custom kitchen island with two tilt out trash cans and it was absolutely perfect. Just the time they took with designing the island, their excellent suggestions and their incredible patience with my five million questions was amazing, let alone the great piece they built. The assembly instructions were dummy-proof and easy to do. They are definitely my go to vendor and I highly recommend them and their products!

We have been working with Sawdust City since October of 2019 when we asked about making custom DVD racks or bookcases for our videos. We commissioned 2 of them and SDC had them completed and on the way to us within about 2 weeks. They came out beautiful!!! We could not have asked for better quality in these or nicer people to work with! I have talked with a few of them fairly regularly for projects. They are always professional and courteous, as well as understanding and extremely helpful. We have had a few custom projects that took a while to get right but they all stuck with us until we were satisfied and pleased with the design. The best example I can give of that would be the custom memorial boxes we had done for our fur babies. We had several that we had kept with us over the years because of moving around a fair bit. We finally decided we needed to actually 'do' something with the ashes and paw prints. Sawdust City was our go to place, again. I came across a similar box on their website and immediately contacted them. We began the design of a slightly altered box and added special graphics along with dates for each one. We couldn't have been more pleased or moved by their sincerity and heartfelt understanding as we worked through this together. Since 2019 we have done multiple bookcases, trunks, benches, signs, as well as custom projects, such as, TV stands, cabinets and a podium for a couple of older and very large books. Recently, we have had several custom small benches done for specific things. They are fun and functional, as are all the things we have ordered from SDC. We love color and it's nice knowing that we have multiple choices in water based paints. SDC also offers a few different stains and/or poly. Our son loves his bookcases with just the poly to protect them; makes it easy to keep clean and still show the beauty of the wood. For us, Sawdust City is the only place to go for the best of fine wood furniture and signs. There is no way we could ever thank them enough for their dedication and consistent quality of work with each item they make. Each person, from the front desk in placing an order to the superb and very careful packaging of orders is exemplary in their work. They aren't just a company that builds rustic furniture and other items...they are people with insight, imagination, integrity, and heart. Each person is Sawdust City.

Sawdust City provides craftsmanship, personalized service & kindness that is extremely rare these days. I am so happy I found them! I had a corner cabinet made to custom specs, and it is perfect; above & beyond what I had expected. Since that first purchase, they’ve also made custom pieces fo that are also perfect.
