Stone Galaxy

We knew we wanted quartz for the counters in our new kitchen, and had priced it at a few different places. We had a price point in mind for what the entire counter would cost us, and the counter was the last "big" expense we had. By that point, the funds were dwindling, & my husband really wanted to go to one of the big box stores to look for the counter - assuming it would be cheaper there. I was against that, because the samples were only tiny squares, not the whole slab, and I really wanted to see the way the veining looked on the whole slab. So I convinced him we should go to Stone Galaxy and give it a try, since the store where we purchased the backsplash tile recommended it. I had previously gone to 2 other stone places in another town on my own and gotten estimates, so this was the 1st time he'd see the full slabs. Google Maps took us on this back road, we didn't know where we were going, but we finally found the place! Amazing selection, we were impressed, and found a counter we both loved. When we got the estimate, we fell in love all over because it was about half of what we had budgeted! Then when the installers came we were impressed again. They were here about 4 hours - making sure it was installed to perfection. We had granite installed in our last house, and the peninsula could be moved by leaning on it. Well, not this! These guys were true professionals. This counter is level, it is solid, we are truly impressed with Stone Galaxy! AND the countertop is just GORGEOUS!
