A visit to Italy in 1958 opened Carmine’s eyes to a world of tiles that was emerging from centuries of tradition from Old World craftsmen. In 1992, Carmine Solimine Jr. joined his father in the family business full time. A graduate of Bentley College and the King School in Stamford, CT, Carmine Jr. has thoroughly enjoyed building upon his father’s success while maintaining strong relationships world wide. A strong family atmosphere is on display each day in Carmine’s showroom. Carminart is an 18,000 square foot facility centrally located in Elmsford, NY.
