Sawmill Sid’s Portable Sawmilling services are effectively addressing Ontario’s needs. We have reclaimed Toronto’s trees and reclaimed over 1,000,000 board feet. We have partnered with local Wood Processing Services to re-purposing this wood for lumber, siding, flooring, for artisans and for furniture, and then re-use the sawdust for the biomass industry and for animal bedding. The live-edge market is thriving world-wide and we have just shipped out our first container consisting of Ash, Elm, and Maple to Thailand. Some of these live-edge slabs were just under 5 feet wide. We have a great track record for sawmilling reclaimed timber and our recent project of sawmilling the “Maple Leaf Forever Tree” makes us your “go to” portable sawyer. We are Ontario Wood Certified by the Ministry of Natural Resources and have completed work for The City of Toronto, Bentall Kennedy and several home designers.
