About Sarah Doublet Potters Sarah Doublet Potters is owned and operated by Richard (Rick) and Karen Roth. We have been married for over 30 years and share a number of interests. Recently we discovered how much we enjoy working with clay. Rick is a talented artist, known primarily for his wildlife wood carving, which is represented in some of his pieces. The wildlife interest doesn't stop there, we also own an exotic animal business (The Creature Teachers (www.thecreatureteachers.com)) for educational purposes. Rick goes to schools, libraries, camps, and birthday parties educating the public on the variety of animals and their place in the world. So how did we come up with Sarah Doublet Potters? We have been caretakers of 96 acres of conservation land called Sarah Doublet Forest and Nature Preserve, hence, Sarah Doublet Potters. Sarah Doublet was the last known Nashoba Native American, in her elder years she sold the property to pay for her care. We hope you enjoy our products.
