Michele LaRocco: Art Simplified

We help people fall in love with art. Art defines the personality and atmosphere of a location more than any other element. In the corporate world, a strong art collection is the visual reflection of a company’s identity, brand and values. It provides the human touch, as well as establishes a visual communication between a space and its internal and outside world. While a well organized art collection is capable of encouraging the values of a company and showcasing the human side of a business; an ill-thought out collection has the ability to do the complete opposite. It's been my experience that art, regardless of one's education or economic background, has the power to encourage feelings of isolation, inadequacies and separation among the viewing public. When you add to that: complicated industry jargon, the dreaded and often unwelcoming white walls of an art gallery, non-transparent pricing systems, and the lovely but typically non-business minded artist, the majority of buyers become overwhelmed. My mission is to simplify the process and create art programs that speak to all shareholders.
