Over the past 35 years, architect and founder Peter Mitsakos has directed successful efforts for a variety of building projects according to the belief that thoughtfully designed spaces can have a great and positive effect. Peter's attention to detail extends to interiors, through living spaces that are not just highly functional, but pleasing to be in as well. We weren’t sure where to start when we decided to remodel. From our very first meeting, Peter opened our eyes to possibilities we never would have thought of. He cared about what was important to us, and always took the time to explain his ideas so that we could make decisions with no surprises. During construction Peter was on site continually to talk to the contractor and subs. Now we have a beautiful home that perfectly suits us. We’ve been in the house for less than a year, and every day I discover something special I never noticed before. Peter was so easy to work with and we are so thankful he built a home that more than fulfilled our every wish.

It started as only a renovation of the second floor, and Peter was only suppose to help with that part. Peter's experience is obvious in the way he plans and brings attention to things that would have been a problem later. He is able to take our wants and desire and plan out the space accordingly while also giving us feedback and thoughts on different approaches. We completely credit him with figuring out how to reconfigure the entire second floor so that it's so much more functional and open. Peter also remained very involved during the actual construction and proved instrumental in keeping our relationship with our general contractor... uuhh... moving forward. His experience becomes obvious when he knew when to bring both parties (us and the gc) down a few notches. He knew well that sometimes there comes a point where no one's going to be ecstatic, but we can, at least, finish the project. I cannot stress enough that his even keel not only kept the contractor in check but also us, and I have no doubt that we may not have been able to move back in if he hadn't stepped in and stepped up to keep the project moving. I can't imagine having gone through this renovation without his help.
