Somdal Associates is a multi-purpose design firm that has offered design and planning services to clients since 1908. Our comprehensive services, our attention to the needs of our clients and our reputation for integrity within the construction industry have helped lead to the legacy of success of the firm. The firm presently employs eight people, including six licensed professionals in the fields of architecture and interior design. We believe that the success of the project is dependent upon listening carefully to our clients, making sure that the design solutions are a reflection of each of our clients and not a "one-size-fits-all" design concept. The staff members of Somdal Associates have earned their experience on a wide variety of building types with varied budgets, some exceeding $20 million. At the present time we have projects in the fields of healthcare, education, manufacturing/maintenance, athletics, multi-family residential and custom residential. We also have enjoyed a regional presence with projects not only in the Shreveport/ Bossier City area but also throughout Louisiana, east Texas, and southern Arkansas. The design process requires that our staff be prepared to be part of a team to help our clients achieve their goals in an imaginative, efficient and value sensitive way. We utilize the skills and experience of our staff to provide thoughtful and coordinated design services for buildings that will stand the test of time and provide sustainable, durable and efficient solutions for our clients.
