Schemata Workshop was founded in 2004, with a passion for empowering communities through architecture - our projects produce not only great buildings but also help build community through the process. We actively seek opportunities for creating meaningful places, pay close attention to program, and optimize our clients’ budget, while producing exceptional results. We know that planning and details matter, both in design and in the organization that precedes the effort. Our open studio environment reflects the value we place on honest collaboration, and our clients see this directly through our thoughtful interaction with them. The studio is comprised of five architects, eight architectural designers, one marketing director, and two office administrators. Three of our staff are USGBC LEED Accredited Professionals, experienced with Lifecycle Building Design, the ambitious Living Building Challenge program, and all are well-versed in sustainable practices. Due to our long term commitment to people, planet, and prosperity our projects are sustainable in multiple facets. With this background, we successfully deliver high quality, full architectural services to public and private clients on new and renovation projects. Customer service is of paramount importance to us and we are very conscious about consistent and clear communication throughout the project. We are deeply invested in our clients and their missions – we select each other based on shared values. We are strong collaborators, engaging contractors during the design phase to help identify and resolve questions about constructability when it is relatively easy and cost effective to make changes.
