Rene was amazing at getting our kitchen, bathroom, and powder room plans done. He was communicative, efficient, and has an excellent attention to detail. IN a project when everything takes longer, and with a baby on the way, Rene was constantly working closely with our kitchen designer as well as over the weekends to ensure we could hit the deadlines we were hoping for. He also was able to recommend a contractor who we ended up going with. I highly recommend Rene to anyone who has a need for a top quality architect.

We hired Rene to perform architectural services for a renovation of our newly purchased home in Ocean City, MD. The renovation plans consisted of two phases. The first phase (Focusing on the 1st floor of the house) was to to open up the downstairs living for a more "open" feeling with a focus on the water view as well as internal views within the home. To achieve the desired end result this included removing two walls which were structural, building a custom wet bar which included a wine cooler/3 keg kegarator/wet sink and storage areas, , relocating the fireplace, removing a half wall from the living room and dining room, reconstructing columns and redesigning the overhead arches and installing new floors and granite and lighting. The project was completed on time and on budget per the project scope. Rene worked hand in hand with the GC (Monogram Custom Homes) to ensure that the project was implemented to the highest of standards, which resulted in a beautiful and well built product. Rene kept us in the loop on all details which included follow up pictures, onsite inspections and recommendations for a few unforeseen items. The Phase Two scope will encompass the expansion of the 3rd floor 'man cave'. We look forward to our continued relationship with Rene and highly recommend him to anyone in the market for an architect. His professionalism and out of the box thinking in our resort town is unmatched!

I worked as the contractor on a remodel job in Ocean City,MD designed by Rene. The detail in his plans was precise and well though out. The scope of work was also very detailed making it easy to prepare an accurate bid for the homeowner. He was easy to contact when questions arose, took an active interest in the job with on-site visits, and was amiable to adjustments as the project unfolded and hidden existing flaws were uncovered. With a focus on making the project the very best that it could be, he continued to look for ways even during the construction process to enhance the project while ever mindful of the homeowner's need to stay on budget and our need as a contractor to maintain a schedule. It was a pleasure to work with a professional who not only put his heart and soul into the preliminary design, but also into the project thru to it's completion.

I was very impressed with Rene's work, a true knowledgeable professional, explained the process in detail, drew the plans, went out of his way to meet city plan examiner and plans were approved, delivered everything to me in a timely fashion, after job was done I asked him to make some changes to the plans and he did. The cottage that Rene Mueller designed near the Brinton Brook Sanctuary in Croton on Hudson New York is an architectural gem. In contrast to so many homes it is compact yet spacious. It was built to fit into a woodland environment in a respectful way requiring the Swiss Method so its scale could be visualized before construction. It is geo thermally heated and passively cooled with intense levels of insulation. In the coldest winters the all electric heating cost is under $100 per month. The air conditioning bill is zero. Even in the hottest summers the belt driven ceiling fans are rarely needed. It is the perfect weekend getaway and perhaps will become a full time residence.

Our company sold a condominium to Mr. Mueller some time in the fall of 2013 .It was amazing watching Mr. Mueller convert an older, tired three tiered condominium on the ocean, (located in Ocean City Maryland) called El Capitan. The renovated layout was brilliantly planned without wasted space. The open floor plan gives the unit new light and life that must be seen to be understood. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Mueller and would highly recommend his services.

Rene Mueller was the architect for the renovation of our house in Westchester County. It was really more of transformation of a 2 story structure into a much larger 3 story residence. The project was extremely complicated and Rene managed to give us everything we needed while keeping everything we liked about the original house. Rene was sensitive to the needs of various family members and responsive to budget details. His strong design skills have transformed a dated, rather industrial looking building into a gracious, intriguing home. Most of all Rene was very easy to work with. His talent is not saddled with any ego problems and the give and take between us was effortless.
