PWS was founded in 2018 with the ambition to fulfil dreams, ones of designing quality bespoke architecture for all clients. At PWS it is important that the design works in all aspects, it is not enough to create something beautiful but to create something that fulfils its purpose and adds to the lives of those who utilise it, working on both large and small projects we do not shy away from residential or commercial work. We constantly aim to deliver a personalised service that not only meets but exceeds the brief and expectations of the client by going above and beyond to achieve this, we work closely with both clients and consultants to ensure this. We also believe it is important to create and utilise things that will preserve our planet, at PWS we use off-cuts from cotton t-shirts to make our business cards and aim to, where possible, promote sustainability through design.

Ours was only a small job but turned out to be lengthy since we required planning permission and structural engineering. Phil was great with design ideas and very patient with us as totally naive customers (and also with the hassle from our kitchen supplier). He was invaluable in getting planning permission and finding us a great contractor. Very pleased with the final result.

Phil has been amazing helping and guiding us from our initial wish to extend our dining room right through to the finished product. Phil is a really friendly and approachable guy. He listened to our initial ideas, answered our questions quickly and clearly and gave us three different options to choose from, any one of which would have been brilliant. Having made our choice he guided us through the entire process including planning, getting quotes and timescales then working closely with our builder through to the end of the project. We are absolutely delighted with the end result. It couldn’t be better and has transformed our home. It will give us, our family and friends many happy years using the new space in and outdoors. We are also looking forward to seeing how the sedum roof blooms and grows over the months ahead. Phil and his team have been brilliant to work with and we would definitely recommend them to anyone considering similar projects.

In a nutshell PWS have been excellent throughout from our initial phone call tentatively asking for advice to the completion of our project. Phil’s communication skills are a credit to him - no question is left unanswered with advice given openly and honestly. Phil has worked brilliantly alongside our builder, when required problem solving effectively and efficiently and always mindful of keeping us informed along the way. Indeed we were so confident in his management of our project from day one we continued with our extensive travel plans throughout the project. My father had struggled with planning on a plot of land for 15 years with no success, Phil not only managed to get planning for a house he managed to create a design that made best use of the site and the features of it. Would highly recommend.
