With a principal focus on improving existing residential accommodation, I work on a range of residential projects, from small scale extensions and internal reconfigurations to larger more bespoke high-end developments, across all RIBA Plan of Work Stages. My approach to architecture and design is personable and inclusive. Allowing each project to be defined by both architect and client. Establishing a design brief through conversations, observations and engagement with the client, planning and the context of the site. Placing people first, understanding their needs and designing to suit. I believe in the inherent advantages of standardisation and have formulated a number of design approaches and specifications that are directly transferable from one project to the next. This level of standardisation enables me to offer high quality bespoke spatial design while helping maintain economic efficiencies in terms of fees, construction and the ongoing costs of the clients' new home.
