Clients come to me for a variety of reasons - more space, better circulation, improved functionality, more comfort, and for style that better suits their taste. The houses and buildings I work on vary widely in scope and budget and span a range of styles, from early 20th century to contemporary modern. Some projects are from the ground up; others are remodels, additions, or a combination of the two. My goal is to make my clients happy and to finish with beautiful, functional spaces completed within their budgets. I bring a fresh perspective to each assignment and aim for a holistic understanding of the conditions and client needs. I also work towards collaborative relationships with all those involved. The results are a unique reflection of the lifestyle and personal taste of the individuals who hire me. My background includes fifteen years in commercial architecture followed by fifteen years in my own practice as a residential architect and interior designer. Most of my work is through client referrals. Many homeowners return to me for new projects. The process begins with an on-site meeting with potential clients, an opportunity for me to introduce myself and determine the direction and scope of work. Afterwards, I draw up a fee proposal specific to the project. Once the fee proposal is accepted, the client and I work out a project schedule and begin. Interested?
