After some searching, good reviews and pleasant initial chats, I decided to work with Vaidas on my house renovation and extension project in Hackney, and very very pleased with my decision! As a first time buyer, I had a lot of questions around the process and Vaidas was able to outline the project stages and next steps in a timely and very clear way. More specifically, from the initial stages of drawings, to oversight of the implementation/construction stage, to completion, Vaidas had good attention to detail and came up with several alternatives and considerations for the kitchen extension and house refurbishment, including helpful perspectives on design and material choice. Ideas and advice were well thought out, thinking through how utilities and spaces would be best used, and also how the full project and decisions would integrate throughout the house. I found Vaidas displayed a level of client service and drive which exceeded my expectations, and would without a doubt recommend him for future projects!

I approached Vaidas after a long few (discouraging) months of searching for the right person to help with my roof terrace construction project. Having been given a string of misleading quotes from numerous firms I was feeling a bit overwhelmed especially as it was my first home and first time overseeing such a project. Vaidas immediately made me feel at ease. He was always available to discuss things through if I did not understand something and would always take time making sure every decision was for my benefit. I have been very impressed with his engagement with the project from day one. I found the design stage enjoyable and pretty stress free which was largely down to the trust built between client and architect. Very supportive in helping me achieve everything I wanted for the roof terrace but also really practical in helping to allocate costs so that we stuck to my budget - great at setting out the pros and cons of different alternatives. I have appreciated Vaidas' honest advice throughout the project, he has managed and coordinated the project from start to finish impeccably. Overall, I cannot imagine doing the build with anyone else and cannot recommend AVV highly enough!

Vaidas is an excellent architect who was always responsive and proactive in helping out with my project. Taking on a home renovation seemed a daunting prospect at first but all turned out well and was surprisingly effortless thanks to the great work done by Vaidas. He was always on hand to guide me through the process, explaining patiently the different stages from concept proposals, planning and helping to choose the right builder. The feeling of knowing your project is in the safe pair of hands from start to finish is priceless and so rare to find with so many different designers and builders to choose from. Luckily it was all presented to me in a broken down and easily digestible way that was easy to compare and make an informed decision. Last but not least are the impressive designs drawn up for my house. Multiple options were presented, once again, broken down and easy to compare from the cost point of view as well as wonderfully illustrated so I could get a sense of what the spaces will look like. Vaidas is a fellow design industry professional, whom I have known over 10 years and he has recently helped with our home upgrade and construction project in Dalston. I was particularly impressed with how knowledgeable and competent he is with the matters of planning and party walls. We worked with Vaidas on this residential project for his client's home in Kensington. He commissioned a bespoke kitchen from us as part of a full house refurbishment which included an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space. As such, we collaborated closely with Vaidas to ensure that the kitchen joinery integrated seamlessly with his architectural scheme. It was great working with Vaidas, his attention to detail and high level of engagement throughout the entire design development process really helped us to deliver a beautiful kitchen for his client.

We hired Vaidas after our original architecture firm closed their business and recommended his company. We have a small georgian terraced house, in a conservation area in central London, that we wanted to completely refurbish as it hadn't had any work done to it in 20 years. Vaidas has been a great asset in working with the council to get 4 planning permissions approved to extend our house, keeping in constant contact with them and identifying instances when they missed a deadline. He also has recommended engineers, surveyors, builders and other necessary appointments to ensure that once work commenced there would be no delays. Vaidas always gave us options with each appointment to enable us to make educated decisions on hiring key people. He engaged with each 3rd party ensuring the correct info was captured and provided. His plans were clear and accurate, offering more than one scenario (modified when necessary) and listened to our ideas. He explored these ideas and made fantastic suggestions to implement as well as to consider other options. Vaidas created pinterest boards so we could pinpoint the actual look and feel of floorboards, baseboards, bathrooms, fixtures, kitchens etc. This was very helpful as we were able to focus on the details in our own time. We are very pleased with the job Vaidas has done thus far and recommend him highly!

Vaidas was the architect on a high-end residential project we were building in Knightsbridge and we had an excellent working relationship. I was impressed time and time again by his attention to detail, care and a positive problem-solving attitude which has gone a long way towards successful completion of the project. As a refurbishment project with a new basement dig in Central London, the project was inherently prone to a few issues along the way and a few delays, but working with an architect who is collaborative and helpful has been key in any issues being resolved in a timely manner. We always felt like we are on the same side and that we are a team working towards a shared goal with Vaidas, which is not always the case with other professionals. All in all, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Vaidas to anyone looking for an architect as I know you will be getting not only a great design but excellent service and experience in working on complicated London projects as well.

Vaidas was our architect for the refurbishment and extension project in our newly purchased garden apartment in Chelsea. The result exceeded all expectations as we have received a stunning, contemporary designed and exceptional space. The whole process was effortless due to it being managed by Vaidas and him always providing the necessary information and guiding us through it, but not overwhelming with the technical details and giving us the updates as and when they are required. If you want a state of the art space and for it to be carried out with ease letting you live your life in the meantime and not to be all-consuming, I cannot recommend Vaidas highly enough, as we were extremely happy with him. My husband and I used Vaidas for our house refurbishment and extension project in Hatfield a couple of years ago. We were very pleased with his services and approach from start to finish. He obtained planning permission, dealt with building control and also supervised the construction on site.
