Murray Arnott Design

Murray Arnott and my wife and I have been working together for the last 2 years on a new Post and Beam Home design in Ventnor NJ, on the waterfront. My experience with him has been nothing less than fabulous. Murray is a consummate professional, a true artist in every sense of the word, with a seemingly unbridled sense of imagination. If you can envision it, he can design it. And where my vision struggles, his suggestions seem to be spot on. Murray was kind enough to rescue me after a failed attempt with another architect where the chemistry turned out to be less than adequate. Instead, murray's gentlemanly nature and easygoing demeanor set the tone which allowed me to describe, receive sketches, tweak them, describe some more, tweak some more, until we achieved a near 8000sq ft home on the water with a very large workout room with steamshower and sauna, game room, wine cellar, office, gourmet kitchen, 5 bedrooms 6.5 baths and a 2nd floor indoor pool and spa off the Den (secluded from the rest of the house appropriately of course). I didn't realize until half way through this project that Murray is actually quite the International award winning home designer. Not why I chose him and not why we are together at all, though it's quite the icing on top. The reason I was so attracted to Murray is because his designs, in general which illustrate so wonderfully curvaceous indoor outdoor living in log home and post and beam designs are just........quietly elegant and drop dead gorgeous. Look him up and see for yourself. We have just received our variance and zoning approvals which Murray has been walking us through every step of the way, from start to finish, and our plan is for him to stay intimately involved throughout the entire build process. Our Home is in the final throws of the building permitting process with all systems go. Thank you, Murray!
