Craig approaches design challenges with a unique, holistic perspective, weaving together client needs and goals to create a symbiotic relationship between site/context and the built form. He develops sustainable solutions rooted in “simple green” philosophies. As a result, from Craig’s single family residential designs to his large urban master planning projects, and from the Pacific Northwest to the Rocky Mountain Region and the Midwest, his work finds a harmonious balance by creating a built form that enriches the community and the surrounding environment. In addition to a strong design background, Craig has a passion for the building process and is fully engaged during construction, including acting as General Contractor (fully licensed professional architect and licensed general contractor through the State of Montana).

I have worked with Craig Miller at Living Places on several projects. I partner with Craig on high end, custom residential projects. Living Places acts in a design consultant and technical advisory role. Craig's thoughtful approach to space making, material relationships, and innovative products and techniques makes him an incredibly valuable part of my design team. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to create a beautiful, unique, thoughtful designed home.

Very talented architect. Listens and give clear direction through the design and construction process. Modern, clean structures. Thoughtfull design. We worked on many variations of remodel ideas and budget formats. We had them do a complete design for the future as well as the present remodel with the future expansion in mind the whole time.
