Sobre nosotros
LIANA SIPELIS ARCHITECT is a contemporary modern design firm offering architectural and interior design services. Established in Vancouver in 2009, the firm allows Liana to combine her love of design with her passion for construction. In addition to producing innovative architectural design, Liana designs and builds furniture. The care and attention to detail that furniture design demands is incorporated into her larger architectural projects.
Prior to launching her firm, Liana Sipelis attended the University of Waterloo School of Architecture where she was awarded the American Institute of Architects Award of Merit. She then completed her Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University in New York. Liana worked in the New York offices of Hariri & Hariri and Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects, the London office of Foster and Partners, and the Los Angeles office of Roto Architects on high-end residential projects, mixed-use developments such as Albion Wharf (London), Middlebury College Library (Middlebury), The Jewish Children's Museum (New York), and Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento). In Vancouver, Liana worked with Peter Cardew as project architect for a high-end residence in the UBC Endowment Lands.
Liana views architecture as an artistic pursuit. Regardless of project scale, site or budget, she responds to the client's aspirations with imaginative solutions. Thoughtful consideration of all aspects of the project results in carefully crafted, innovative, and elegant spaces.
