KSM Architects and their staff are creative, insightful and forward thinking!! We collaborated on many projects and they are attuned to our needs and our budget!! When we are stuck in a design or just don't know the codes they are able to quickly and efficiently find out the answer and explain it in way that makes sense!! I have worked with KSM on multiple projects for over 5 years now. The projects they assisted me on were both for residential and commercial clients. This team is my "go-to" for an architectural design professional. They are responsive, easy to work with, and budget-friendly.

KSM Architects were the architects and general contractors for our major home renovation in 2012. In the project, we gutted most of the downstairs, bumped out the back exterior wall four feet, and added a master suite and deck off of the back (with exercise room underneath). We also added a second floor, consisting of two bedrooms, big storage closets and a full bath for our two sons. The houses in our neighborhood are all one story ranches, so it was important that the scale of the finished house be appropriate for the block. David worked tirelessly to help me realize my vision, answering my concerns and questions before construction and making on-site changes during construction. Because it was his design, he was onsite to provide guidance to the subcontractors. He suggested many "out of the box" solutions to various issues, saving us money and giving us fun, cool design elements in our home. I wanted environmentally friendly products and a house that maximized sun, shade and cross ventilation during the various seasons and they made this happen. I highly recommend them.

I've worked with John and David on three projects now and could not be happier! They are a pleasure to work with and creative beyond belief. Thanks to KSM, I now have two residents that are both practical in design and absolutely beautiful.

My husband and I hired John and David to renovate our beloved home a few years ago. They came and listened carefully to what we wanted, made great suggestions and sketched out ideas. John and David designed our business in Berwyn, barre3, which is a fitness and exercise studio. John was our primary architect for the project and he did a fantastic job. His attention to detail is excellent and he also knows the rules and code requirements very well. He is very responsive and he is very good at meeting deadlines.
