KMS Designs

Originally from Rochester, New York, I began my professional career working with my mother-in-law in her design business. Later on, I was offered a job at Vitoch Interiors, Rochester’s best-known interior design firm where I worked for seven years. In 2006, my husband and I formed KMS Designs, his expertise being home building, restoration and fine cabinetry, and mine interior design. Soon after, we both gained clients on Nantucket and began traveling back and forth. We fell in love with life on the Island and decided to move to Nantucket year round in 2009 with our two young daughters, Evelyn and Georgia. Nantucket has been good to us. Our business has grown and our customer base now reaches from New England to Colorado and places in between. The island is now home and we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I pride myself on having a good rapport with my clients while making the design process as comfortable and seamless for all involved. Bringing my clients style to life is key, while adding my signature natural elements both old and new to every project, and ultimately making a house a home. Whether it is overseeing new construction from the beginning stage of drawings to final furnishings, each new endeavor is welcomed.
