Troy Kennedy, principal and founder of Kennedy Architecture LLC, has over 30 years designing, drawing and managing residential, commercial, institutional, and educational projects of all sizes. He is involved in all aspects of a project. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Architecture with high honors in 1993. This experience also included an invaluable 4 months of studying in Europe. After living in Austin for 14 years, he moved back to the Galveston Bay area, where he grew up and still has family. Inspired by travel, both domestic and abroad, all things well-designed, and nature, Troy embraces the excitement of the design process and collaboration with a client. The goal is to always try to exceed a client’s expectations and push the envelope as far as comfortably possible. Troy has three children, one a recent Texas A&M University graduate, another attending TAMU, and a third still in High School.

We worked with Kennedy Architecture to build our home. From day 1, Troy was always available to answer questions, make changes, help with design and decor decisions, basically everything I needed. He would help me with ideas, color choices, etc. He created 3D renderings so that we could better understand what he was creating.
