With an architectural career spanning three continents, a vast array of building styles, clients and project types, there's one aspect of design that remains fundamental - you. I believe the design process is exciting when it combines working from my life and yours, my references and yours, my imagination and yours. Spending time discovering ‘your story’ is central to the outcome of a building that is styled individually and makes a positive impact in the surroundings. I believe building design is as important to the user as it is to the observer, and how the structure sits within the landscape is essential to the total experience of the building. Background I have lived in Dunsborough with my family since 2009, where I have been involved in residential and community building projects, as well as landscape design and maintenance with our family business - Hedges and Edges. Handling the soil and taming the plants has given me an insight into the challenges and opportunities of landscaping, and the importance of holistic design. Having a family helps me understand the practicalities of everyday life, and how space, size, and affordability can be achieved without design compromise.
