Hoopes + Associates has gained the reputation as one of Santa Fe’s top architectural design studios and was AGAIN voted Best of Santa Fe 2023 in the architectural category. For nearly 30 years, the award-winning architectural studio has been creating unique and special environments for its clients. A graduate of Cornell University College of Architecture, Art and Planning, Craig Hoopes has done additional studies with Syracuse University in Florence, Italy, the Workshop of Environmental Design in Athens, Greece, and the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. H+A is deeply committed to community, pragmatic design and enduring architecture. We seek collaborative relationships with our clients that allow us to understand their needs and vision. This level of collaboration also extends to other parties in the planning and design process, including artisans, landscape architects, interior designers, contractors, and homeowner associations, with all of whom we have established strong working relationships. “We take traditional Santa Fe architecture and its minimal aesthetic, simple and spare, and make it contemporary.
