Working as an interior designer since 1984, Harte has a reputation for creating elegant, livable residences for a long list of satisfied clients, many of whom have hired him to work on second, third and multiple homes. A graduate of Rice University's business school, Harte worked in the corporate world for a short time before discovering his true calling: creating sophisticated interiors that reflect the lifestyles and loves of his clients.
Harte Brownlee designs high-end houses in a variety of locales (city, beach, mountain, desert), as well as select commercial projects. Harte is well versed in any design style, from contemporary to traditional to eclectic, from rustic to casual to formal. A member of the board of trustees of the Laguna Art Museum, Harte has helped many clients build or enhance their art collections.
