Giorgio Caporaso, Architect and Designer. Architecture, Interior, Design, Sustainability. Giorgio Caporaso, italian architect and designer, was graduates in 1996 in Architecture, in Industrial Design and Interior Design, at the Polytechnic in Milan. From the very beginning he deals with architecture, interior design, design of residential and industrial buildings, design of shops and showrooms, installations and exhibition spaces, design of furniture in both residential, exhibition and industrial fields. He also deals with design and visual communication, and also collaborates in the teaching of some courses at the faculties of Architecture and Industrial Design at the Polytechnic in Milan. In 1997 he opens his own professional architecture and design studio and his activity is requested in various fields and sectors, both in architectural and construction design and in the space design project, and in product design, furniture design, exhibition and interior design. He begins to face the issues of sustainable architecture with a special attention to the environment. In his projects he experiments in an interesting way the use of green roofing systems and vertical gardens. In an autonomous way, he begins the study of a line of products and furnishing accessories conceived according to the criteria of sustainable design. His projects are published in international architecture and design books and magazines. His works are exhibited internationally in important fairs, exhibitions, industry exhibitions, as well as used for 'eco-friendly settings' and television sets. Various awards and prizes received during his career and in 2018 Giorgio Caporaso won "Top Design of The Year" award, by GrandesignEtico. www.caporasodesign.it
