Our buildings are thoughtful, joyful and timeless (and so are we). We believe that every building should make you feel good – whether it's your home, your workplace, or perhaps a farm shop, cafe or yoga studio. It should be simple and functional, beautiful yet understated. We listen before we do anything else. We come to your project with open eyes and ears, and with honesty, curiosity and care. Our clients love what we do, and they also love the way we do it. They tell us we're calm, attentive, full of ideas, and a joy to work with. Our studio is located in Sussex near the pretty town of Midhurst, we have created an inspiring studio in an old refurbished dairy barn deep in the rural countryside.

Poor effort, we gave them clear written instructions for an extension. Completely ignored our requirements and came up with a lastminute, mindless gutting project after three months to waste our budget. Stay well clear to save your money and time.

We were recommended to link up with Darren to take our project to the next stage - finalisation of tender, build and completion stages. Great recommendation by our QS team at PT Projects. We are very pleased we changed architects at this stage - the process has been far less stressful. Darren is through, detailed, and both Darren and Simon are very good with understanding what we wanted (a mix of restoration of a locally listed building and sympathetic modernisation), dealing with planners, a large and complicated project, made even more complicated with COVID. They have a great eye for detail, good at managing scope changes and hence budget implications, practical, creative, fun and easy to work with. A great pleasure and we are very much looking forward to the completed project! Builders were very concerned with the change in architects, but I do think in hindsight, this was the better outcome and they would say the same too! Thank you both.

George &James architects guided us through remodelling our Edwardian home to better suit our needs. Walls have been moved , 2 bathrooms , utility, downstairs loo and kitchen totally renewed . Yet our beautiful house retains all its period features which we love and all the improvements fit in so well. We LOVE our newly designed home . All thanks to the architects.
