We just had a four bedroom, three bath two story oceanfront house built, after an excellent design by our architect Verity Frizzell, who had a long, very narrow space with which to work. (The house is only 16.5 feet wide!) The result was a beautiful home with a spacious feel, and with sizable rooms. She made complete use of the available space, and her artistry is evident in many details within the house. Because of her experience with this type of home, she made many excellent suggestions, and was an absolute joy to work with. I wouldn't change a thing!

Verity did an excellent job designing our second home in Bay Head, NJ. She worked with us to create something that fit into the historical neighborhood and looks like it has been here for 80 years. She also did a great job specifying the technical details so that the house is energy efficient and received Energy Star certification in NJ. We appreciated that Verity was open to listening to client ideas and confident enough to give an opposing opinion. We would recommend Verity, especially if you want to build an energy efficient home.

Verity worked on our new kitchen layout and design. She was kind, patient and gave wonderful guidance. Verity's drawings were complete and easy for contractor to follow and for permit approval.

Verity Frizell designed our 3500 ft2, 5 bed, 3.5 bath home in Normandy Beach in 2009. The design included many innovative ideas, some green, which enhanced the project building efficiency, construction schedule, and home comfort; spray polyurethane foam insulation, HardyPlank siding, Renai gas water heat systems and more. Verity prepared detailed construction drawings, material specifications, construction specfications, attended meetings with the Zoning Board to help obtain variances on our behalf and later acted as third party inspector to ensure the home was built to all specifications. Verity also introduced us to qualified contractors, yet showed no preference towards any specfic one, this allowed us to solicit several competitive bids from responsible contractors. After Hurricane Sandy directly hit us, we feared the worst. However, we incurred no damage whatsoever - the home was solid. Verity was a pleasure to deal with - very energetic, full of great ideas and of course very professional. Her work was prepared on schedule and on a cost competitive basis. We will surely work with Verity again on future projects and highly recommend her to others. One final note - many visitors to our home have made the remark that ' this house should be in a magazine '...it is beautiful, distinct custom home. ( I will attempt to upload some pics of the exterior and interior, hopefully they will make it to this review page ).

Verity Frizzell has worked for us on numerous occasions, and has continued to go above and beyond expectations.
