Jason save our project . I start with an incompetent architect and he was ok to take over the project. I will never be enough thanksfull for what he did. I just get my permit, with no comments regarding the design, structural or Mep. And for Miami it is exceptionnel. I will highly recommand him and his team for your futur project.

I've used Building Center No.3 on two projects (a rental property and my home) and have recommended them to many others. I have known Jason Tapia since 1999 when I contracted Building Center No. 3 to plan the complete renovation of my recently purchased home. My 2030 square foot ranch home was purchased from an elderly woman who had made no improvements since 1943. The entire internal structure needed renovation and this was ideal for me because I am disabled and use a wheelchair. A full renovation on an inexpensive property would allow me to achieve the accessibility I needed and desired. Mr. Tapia’s commitment to working from an environmental perspective led to his hire since he was willing to consider Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) building guidelines, their practicality given my specific disability, air quality, lighting, expense and aesthetics. All of these were considered in coordination with the psychological impact that the space would have on me and my family. The renovation included: A complete “gutting” of the interior; including the main floor Excavation of the cellar to increase the height from 5 feet to 8.5 feet Repining of the entire foundation Cementing the cellar floor Installation of steel “I” beams to support a new main floor Installation of wheelchair lift that complies with NYC elevator codes New heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, fire place, windows and cable wiring Framing, building and finishes Mr. Tapia developed the architectural plans/drawings and filed them with the Dept. of Buildings, researched options related to each of the above mentioned points (e.g. lifts vs. elevators, various lighting designs/fixtures, various materials, windows, heating/air conditioning systems, etc.) and he oversaw the contractor to ensure fidelity to the plans and quality in the workmanship. I was thoroughly satisfied with his work and commitment as well as with his sensitivity for my needs as his client. As a result, he was contracted to design a finished basement which was recently completed. He turned an outdated and damaged structure into a sound, comfortable, usable (i.e. wheelchair friendly) and aesthetically pleasing home. My friends regularly comment on the serenity and comfort that they experience when visiting.

The BC no 3. team offered our business full design and architectural serives for a 12500 sq ft commerial rehabilitation project in the little river bisuness park. Jason and his team untilized that latest technology and technics and have a great understanding of "green" building practices. I am happy to endorse this company for their expertize and professionalism.

I met the owner of BC3, Jason Tapia, at the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce meeting. At the time I was the President of my neighborhood association and we were redesigning our streets to present the plan to our City Officials. I asked Mr. Tapia for advices on trees for out streets, that produces shade, adapts to salt water and would be easy to maintain. At the very next day, I had a full report with pictures and specifications. Those suggestions were given to the City Hall. He did all this pro-bono! Thank you Jason!!!

Tri State is a full service general contracting company and we have been doing business with Building Center No. 3 for five years. During this time we had the opportunity to work with Building Center No. 3 on various high-end residential and commercial projects. As the General Contractor selected for these projects we worked closely with Building Center No. 3 to make sure that the needs and standards of the clients were not only met but exceeded. Some of these projects were rather challenging renovations with short construction schedule, therefore effective Architect-Contractor coordination and communication was crucial in completing these projects. Not only were RFI’s and submittals reviewed and returned quickly, but Mr. Tapia and his design team regularly visited the job site to help coordinate any required field changes as they were discovered so that design intent was upheld while ensuring that our construction schedule was never compromised. Over the past years, the cooperation and collaboration between Building Center No. 3 and Tri State has resulted in a productive relationship. I renovated my master bathroom and kitchen in a 1930s house. Jason and Claudia were very good at helping me visualize the space and making recommendations for what to do. They provided me with many options for materials and appliances that aligned perfectly with my design aesthetic. The only two hiccups were the measurements for the cabinets jutting out too far and a mix-up with my sink order, both of which were remedied. I would recommend Building Center for achieving a very polished and beautifully designed look.

Building Center No.3 is one of the best architectural firms I have worked with. The design team understood the client's vision and created a beautiful space with implacable finishes. The team was always available and did a wonderful job representing the owner on site.

I had a design appointment with them and wanted 2 beds and 2 baths to be remodeled completely. They had to change our kitchen location to accommodate one bathroom. They followed through on all of their work which they completed in one year.
