Nick was dedicated and professional throughout the entire process. He helped us tweak our original plans to make better use of the space that we would end up with. We love and cherish the space which Nick helped us create! It has made such a massive difference to how we spend time as a family and with friends. Birch Architects is excellent at maintaining good communication. We are in the New Forest border and have many restrictions around planning rules in a national park - Nick is very familiar and knowledgeable with the process and was immensely helpful and supportive in getting our plans approved.

We were recommended to Nick and his team by our builder. After an initial meeting we were really happy with the ‘fit’ for our large rebuild\new home project. We had a very clear idea of what we were looking to achieve & Nick understood our concept for a contemporary energy efficient home completely. He has designed an amazing large family home for us with swimming pool, roof terrace & garages. The whole planning process from helping us with ecology reports, tree surveys etc & the application process itself has been stress free & smooth. Having received full planning, we are now at the stage of detailed buildings regs drawings etc. we couldn't be happier with how the process has gone so far & would have no hesitation in recommending Birch Architects to others.

After their considered and clear proposal, we found Birch Architects to be highly creative and collaborative, listening to our ambitions and realising these in the design proposals and final result. They helped enormously with the complex planning constraints - surpassing our expectations of what we could achieve.

We were so impressed with the work of Birch Architects! Nick pretty much nailed it first time with his plan. He understood the brief from the start and offered lots of extra information and support to us throughout the project. From design, through planning and then into the build itself, Nick was on hand to ask questions and query anything we weren't sure about. His plans were very detailed, covering a lot more than just a basic layout for the build, it included kitchen design and lighting too! He also came out on site once the build started and talked to us about the work of the builders, querying a few things to do with the brick work which we took to the builders and had rectified. Nick is a consummate professional and I'd have no hesitation recommending his services to anyone looking for a architect in the area :-)
